Free Music Notes for Annie (1977 Original Broadway Cast)Free Music Review: Great ! Hit: 4 Stars
Great songs and vocals! But why was the "Maybe" reprise left out? It's been in the show any time I've seen it. Also I thought the 2 "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile" versions should have been separate not clumsily smacked together. Otherwise I'd give it 5 stars! I personally didn't notice the technical problems, I'll have to listen next time.
Free Music Review: Annie! Hit: 4 Stars
Well First off Andrea Macardle has a good set of Lungs! and rather loud voice! She can be Spunky("Tomorrow"), Imaginitive("Maybe")and happy(" I Think I'm gonna like it here") And the rest of the cast is good too! Miss Hanigan is Pretty Funny!
Free Music Review: Great album! Hit: 4 Stars
This is a great soundtrack! I started my career in musical theatre at the age of 9 when I played the title role of Annie in this show, and 12 years later I still love this soundtrack!!I It is well worth buying if you are and 'Annie' fan!
Free Music Review: Nice Score, Bad Recording Hit: 3 Stars
"Annie" has a nice score, with several memorable numbers. Unfortunately, this recording is only so-so and needs improvement.
The cast (esp. Andrea McArdle & Dorothy Loudon) is excellent!
Best tracks of this 1977 musical include:
Maybe
It's A Hard-Knock Life
Tomorrow
Little Girls
I Don't Need Anything But You
Free Music Review: Its Annie Hit: 3 Stars
If you havent heard "Annie" but the CD. Its worth it. I can't say its the best show out there, but its a classic and rightfully so. This soundtrack also comes with bonous tracks which are such a treat, so this is the version of annie to get. Also all the voices on this CD are great, not so in all versions. My Favorite song is "Something Was Missing."
