I really like this CD - it's Godsmack without Sully - the songs are great, feel-good music.
So little good new music out there - and this one's a keeper!
I wouldn't call it metal, but semi-heavy rock. A little "happier" than your typical godsmack.

Despite the fact Another Animal is comprised of members of Godsmack and Ugly Kid Joe, the group manages to create a classic sound all their own that falls somewhere between Alice in Chains and Soundgarden.Free Music Review: Very Good!

This is one of the top releases of 2007, I like it better then the last couple of Godsmack CD's. It's been said that some of these songs were leftover Godsmack songs that didn't quite measure up to their standards, but they are just a little different and work well here. Since Godsmack started out as an Alice in Chains tribute band it's no surprise that some of these songs sound like AIC. The one song that doesn't belong here is the Blues jam they try.
