Free Music Review: Anti-Flag: One of the Greatest Punk Bands?

Despite Anti-Flag's verbal attacks on police by stereotyping them a bullies with badges, Anti-Flag delivers a plethera of issues it there cd, "Die For The Government". In it, the talk about government denial of secret tests on our soldiers, the de-unification of punks, the effects of alcohol, and several other subjects. There sound is different in almost each song, and even the vocals seem different, though they're done by the same guy. I didn't give the cd a five, however, because some of the songs seem very mundane, something that i don't associate with Anti-Flag. I still concider this there best cd, though i haven't heard "They're System Doesn't Work For You" yet. When and if you do by this cd, listen the the second song, You Gotta Die FOr Your Government, first, not that there's anything wrong with track one, i just think it's the best song up there...Free Music Review: Anti-Flag: One of the Greatest Punk Bands?

Anti-flag is one of the few truly punk-core bands that are still running these days,and this is one of their greatest albums,maybe the greatest AF album of all times...that for sure suckas,and you can find them in Fat Wreck Chords,BYO and a bunch of independent labels out there mija!...so buy it or steal it from a punk guy who often likes to forget stuff.....Free Music Review: best damn punk since the buzzcocks

to me its the only real punk at this time having the sound of early punk bands. i listen to other bands but by far the only thing close to them was either the dead kennedys, buzzcocks, or the sex pistolsFree Music Review: close minded

I think this is one of the best bands out there today, even after the bassist/singer left. They have some of the most intelligent lyrics covering a WIDE range of topics, but most falling under the speaking out against injustices category. Its funny, all the patriots of america that chastise anti-flag for their message completely contradict themselves. They believe that we have all these freedoms in America, making it the best country in the world, such as FREEDOM OF SPEACH. You are taking that right away from people like us by chastising us, censoring us, threatening us, and committing acts of violence against us. So if you don't like their message, too bad. Deal with it. Because they'll never stop.
