First off i'd like to say i agree with anti-flag on all of their political views. This is the best full-length cd anti-flag has made. alot of you guys don'tseem to like there newer stuff or even this, you acuse it of being pop. Well i think it sounds much like the clash or the buzzcocks, just because somone has a high voice doesn't make 'em less punk. I admit that there latest alblum was a little on the popish side but punk rock is about freedom! let them play what they want! Yes it would be an awful shame if this sound is permenent, but all you anti anti-flag punkers out there are being hypocritical. All this new simple plan pop crap is turning the punx against each other,lets calm down a bit and not worry as much weather a band is a little popish (don't get me wrong i F*CKING HATE those blink 182 boy bands). Anyways if your going to get an anti-flag cd get this one, andy flag was still a member at this time and he kept the band hard-core. so buy the damn cd!Free Music Review: Liberal, but what isn't

I have not listenend to this entire cd yet but i have been to their website and found where they stand in the politics and ect... As much as I am a strong conservative, people should not be judging bands by their political views. The liberals own the media and are goin to try to force their opinion by placing it every where. Shure it stupifies people, but we still won.Just goes to show were devoted. Their has been more innocent life being killed in abortions than in the war. This effects our decision more than some punk band's conplaints. Anyway, this is a good cd. Its rebellion against the correct society and its real punk rythems are what make it punk. Die For The Government is a good punk album, but it's not a great Anti-Flag album. On this, their first full-length release, the band hadn't quite found their style yet, so the album is mostly old-style hardcore punk that doesn't differentiate in any way from music being released 20 years prior. Of course, that's not a complaint. With classics like "Drink Drank Punk" and "F--- Police Bruality," this album is well-worth picking up if you're an A-F fan. But if you're just getting started, pick up Underground Network or The Terror State instead, to discover a more consistent and original Anti-Flag. Free Music Review: stupid republicans

I read through the reviews and they made me really pissed. Someone said that ant-flag should be killed after the war on terrorism. Well does the first amendment ring a bell patriot? The album kicks a$$. Go buy it. And you stupid republicans claim to be punk, but you can't stand offensive lyrics. i dont think their offensive. There true. Do yourself a favor and buy this album and listen to the lyrics, and rethink your life.Free Music Review: Please dont buy this cd.

Seems like every one I know who enjoys Punk rock absolutely loves this band. Well I dont. I downloaded a few of there songs and they sounded like bubble gum Punk with emoy vocals. This was a few years ago. Just a little while ago a bought a great peace punk comp that included the above band. In fact it had the aboves title track Die for the government which I hear is there best song on the album. I being the opened minded Indivudual I am listened to this track several times. After the several listenings I concluded that anti-flag were a bunch of fashion punks who read some chomsky and decided to make a album. The song is terrible and insults my intelligence and my belief as a socialist. I can see it now Republicans are going to point there crooked fingers at this albums lyric sheet and laugh at the modern liberal youth. In final words. Punk is dead and Antiflag dances on its grave
If you want real punk please look up Crass, Dead kennedys, Black Flag, Doa, etc
