Yesterday I accidently hit the channel changer on my remote and was fascinated with what I saw and HEARD!!! Riverdance, what a performance what a fantastic groupwork of the dancers and mucicians I could not part from my TV till they went off the screen. Now I will not only see Riverdance life in Paris, but get every CD about it. Just as a secret hint though: This Music IS TRULY FANTASTIC but anyone who is already into Gaelisch and old Irish Tunes knows how it can take possesion of a persons mind and body and carry you away to other worlds, much very much into the harmonic green pastures of the new movie "Lord of the Rings" but here goes another one of my favorites...Free Music Review: All new sensation in Irish Music

Maybe it's because it is my blood, my grandfather was Irish. Or maybe it is the inchanting melodies that hypnotize me the way this CD does. Or maybe it is the fact that it is so, so, well different that it makes me dance to the music (I don't dance to well, please understand, but this really makes me dance!) Anyone can write music or take songs and put them in an album and call it a "Irish CD" but this goes beyond the usual, ordiary Irish music. The way the song fits the title is actually scary! With singers who's melodies break your heart and musisions who capture your imagination, it is no wonder that Riverdance has captured the hearts of millions.Free Music Review: Definitely one of the 10 best musical recordings ever.

This is among the most beautiful music ever recorded of any type. My two favourite tracks are Caoineadh Cú Chúlaínn and Macedonian Morning, with Russian Dervish being a very close third. These tracks embody the heart and soul of good music and, more than anything else on this remarkably brilliant album, make this album worth the price of the recording. Any one of these songs, however, could be the centerpiece of a lesser musical. Or, to be brief, Get This Album.Free Music Review: Highly recommended!

[One CD, with a running time of 73:06 minutes.] This CD is the soundtrack of the fabulous show, Riverdance, which alone makes it a must-have. But even outside of that, the music is superb, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys listening to Irish music. The paperwork included with the CD has a list of the tunes, along with the credits, as well as the words to all of the songs (including the one in Gaelic!).I really enjoyed this CD and highly recommend it!

I had never experienced Celtic music in a good way before listening--pardon me, watching--Riverdance. After gluing myself to the TV showing I stopped at nothing to get the soundtrack. The music's wonderful! The vocals are the best you will ever hear; Irish madrigal singing sends chills up one's spine. There truly is something for everyone on this tape, and if you dislike a couple tracks, there are plenty left to soothe you. Enjoy.
