As I and my company are performing this musical at the moment this CD has been a great help for all of us. It not only is the only anything goes CD with ALL of the songs we are performing on it, but it gives our orchestra a rest when we want to rehearse bits on our own! I'm playing Hope and, the person who sings this part is a little too stiff for my liking, but this only makes my part stronger as I know what I shouldn't do! The music is excellent, every song is brilliant, and anything goes is a great show. This Cd definatly shows what a talented man Cole Porter was.Free Music Review: Patti LuPone really shines.

This is a wonderful classic show with some of Cole Porter's best songs. The original star,Ethel Merman, never got to record this show in it's entirety. That being said, I believe that this cd captures the same excitement as a Merman performance. Patti LuPone is brilliant! She well deserves the same legendary status as Merman, Martin, Channing, and Verdon. The rest of the cast is terrific and the recording is alive with theater presence. This version and the 1962 Off-Broadway cd are both great.Free Music Review: The '87 Revival Cast Is Great!

A few years ago, I saw this revival version in my hometown and was amazed at how good it was. I have never been a huge Cole Porter Fan, but this show really changed my mind. I have heard (and own)all of the CDs of the different revival versions, but this is easily my favorite. The sound quality is very good and Patti LuPone is actually very good in this difficult role as Reno Sweeney. It is a very fun disk to listen to if you like Cole Porter or if you just like "Anything Goes!"Free Music Review: This is going to help me a LOT

I recently got cast as Moonface Martin in my middle school's play Anything Goes and immediately went out to buy this CD. While it's still months before the show I can tell this is going to help me a lot (despite the fact that Moonface has some pretty corny songs). Patti LuPone is incredible, and everyone else on it is great. I expect to listen to this CD many, many times in preperation for opening night.Free Music Review: Stellar as always!

Wow! I just want to say thank you to the seller first off - the quality was incredible! Thank you so much! Secondly, this production is phenomenal! Patti LuPone really gives it her all here and it shows! I love this show and this recording is the best representaion to Cole Porter and his wonderful music! What a performance! I'm sad I didn't get to view it Live at the Lincon Center!
