I bought this just a few weeks ago. And it's pretty damn good. My favorite part is the break in Master of Puppets. If you're like me and think the Black album [stinks] as well as the stuff they've put out after that abortion, this c.d. might make the Black album songs Music Review: A brilliant interpretation of some Metallica classicsHit: 5 Stars This is an excelent cd, however it is not for everybody, "metal heads" might not dig cello music, and cello fans might not like the heavyness of it. You dont even have to like Metallica to like this cd. Some of the songs even sound like the were written specifically for the cello.

I've played the cello for 9 years, but I never knew that a cello could sound that awesome! Apocalyptica really changes the whole stereotype that cello's are boring, "orchestra" instruments. This brings a whole new touch to cellos, and music, and it sounds INCREDIBLE together!!!Free Music Review: unusual but fantastic!

this is such a cool album. one of my students loaned it to me (i teach violin, viola, and cello) and i found it hard to give back to her. my friends and i have had a gas listening to songs we rocked to in high school played on the cello. even heavy metal fans will dig this, i promise!Free Music Review: cool

to be honest i thought this was going to be a joke, but realy it allows you to see that metallica is not a one dimensional band, and i'm glad that someone came up with this idea, and maybe we'll finally get our parents to realize just how intricate our "horrible music is"
