Former Prince protege Apollonia (born Patricia Kotero on 8-2-59) released this uneven but hardly worthless solo album in 1988. Similar in style to Sheila E., this pleasant set of dance-pop should satisfy most fans of the genre. Also notable (my personal favorite from the album) is the bubblegum ballad "Your Eyes." The reason for the title of the review is because the album's liner notes feature a close-up of Apollonia holding a large cigarette.
