It's everything it was billed as -- Ariella has done everyone a favor by making the two volumes-- being able to do some of the excercises in my car and while doing my physical excercises is great-- makes the time go by faster (even though some times I'm sure I look goofy to those drivers next to me)--it is really working--- day by day there is improvement -- the cd is a tremendous starting point and I now use it to supplement my recent start with one-on-one instructions--dickbFree Music Review: Great way to build up the voice

I wanted to take singing lessons, but figured it would be too expensive. As a cheaper alternative, I bought this cd and was so glad I did! The exercises were easy to follow, but it gave my voice a good work out. I could tell a difference with my singing in 5-7 days of doing it daily. I have had it for about two weeks now, and am very pleased with the results thus far. I have always wanted to sing but never made the time. When I was younger my parents couldn't afford voice lessons (I did Brownies and Girl Scouts instead). Anyway, my kids are in school during the day and I decided it was time to pursue my passion to sing. Both of these volumes have been excellent I always have them going in my car after I drop my kids off to their events. Ariella Vaccarino uses clear wording and a sense of humor, along with her vocal examples, for each (numbered) exercise. The disc has two parts: One to gradually stretch your vocal range, the other to teach you how to breathe so you get the most power and control out of your voice. This product was a lifesaver for me. I recently started singing again and had trouble reaching the notes in songs. With this CD you get a 30 minute practice using your singing voice and helping to open up rusty vocal cords. You also get pointers on breathing properly. Very helpful and useful for someone trying to enjoy the beauty of singing again in their life.
