Hey, I thought I'd review these since I have had such a great run with them so far. This second volume is great for musical training. It deals with a movable do- if you can understand that so, the solfedge is based on half steps and whole steps rather than note name letters. That is actually how I learned in my ear training course in college- so this perfectly backs this up. I'm actually a composer who wanted to strengthen my voice for singing parts on my demos for the "real singers". I have found that I now sound so much better. I was always on pitch before but now I have more confidence and definitely more sound. I think the sound was always there but the cds just help me let it out. Vaccarino is clearly a great musician and teacher. I have recommended these cds to a lot of my musical friends. I definitely think there is something in volume 2 for both the musician and first time singer. Either it is a great introduction or a great practice tool. Either way. I tried the voice coach with Paula Abdul- can't recommend. Then I tried this Voice Lessons To GO series, because of all the great reviews and of course a friend of mine swore by them. Anyway, these CDs are all about teaching you how to warm up your voice and this volume intoduces your ear to all kinds of crazy stuff called- solfeg? Confusing for me at first- thank God its written for you on the cd insert or it may have taken me a bit. Got to see I'm think do so mi stuff all the time now. I've even noticed the different patterns in some music that I listem to because I recognize the sounds from some of her warm ups. Maybe I am musical after all. I don't think I will quite make it to idol but I know I am singing better and smarter.Free Music Review: More In-Depth and Difficult Than Volume 1, but still great!

This CD (Volume 2) takes you to a whole different level of voice instruction from the Volume 1 CD. The exercises are much more difficult (for some of us) than the exercises in Volume 1 of the same series. However, I want to stress that this is not a complaint about the CD. After practicing the Volume 1 exercises for some time, I believe that this CD will take the voice student to the next level of instruction for voice improvement. It will take some time and work to master these lessons. But, once mastered, I believe that your singing and voice control will be at a much higher level.Free Music Review: Old Singers benefit too

I have both Volume 1 and 2. I have been singing all of my life but after the birth of my last child almost 10 lbs I learned some really bad habits and what I was doing before wasn't working anymore. Both have helped me to gradually improve my voice. 1 Helped me to focus on breathing. Two is helping me to associate the solfege with the piano and concentration/focus. I haven't made it through the whole CD yet. Our choir is also using this CD for exercises. It's just a great all around CD!

Hey everyone, thank you so much for your great response to my CDs. Amazon is having a lot of trouble keeping them in stock. They are not ordering enough in time etc... Just so you know the other option is buying them off of Amazon Marketplace. At the top of this is the option to buy them new or used. I sell them directly new on it, (and they are actually cheaper so you can buy both volumes). Hope this tip helps. I've loved reading your responses and reviews.
