I discovered Arts the Beatdoctor though the 2009 South by Southwest free music torrent. Out of all the songs included in that sampler, The Anthem was one that caught my attention, so much so that I looked up more of Arts the Beatdoctor's work and found the Transitions album.
This album is by far the favorite of my music collection. Each song is incredible on it's own, but the arrangement and transitions from one track to the next make it just as enjoyable to listen to from one end to the other. Arts the Beatdoctor pulls his samples from multiple genres such as rap, jazz, and electronic. The skill with which Arts the Beatdoctor blends these genres is far above the rest.
I know that this album took Arts the Beatdoctor three years to produce, but I wait with baited breath for more of this incredible music.
