Free Music Review: Very poppy-fun album.

After hearing a few songs, and some samples I was so excited for this album to come out. For I love dancey, pop music. And most of this CD is fast-paced...pop. Which is good, obviously. However some tracks aren't...
1. Intro - I know it's weird to say this, but this is one of my favorites on this CD. It takes parts from several of the songs on the album and puts them together in a very 'hip' way. To be frank, I love this. It also leads into the next song...[love]
2. So Much For You - It's dancey and simple. Very nice. [like]
3. He Said, She Said - Very fast-paced, and yeah...questionable lyrics though. [like]
4. Be Good To Me - Definitely the right song to be a single. It's fast, cute, and catchy. Great song to sing along to. Though the album version has some guy rapping towards the end. Who is that guy? [love]
5. Not Like That - This song is okay, but the lyrics are kind of weak. A little generic and doesn't sound right for her image. [meh]
6. Unlove You - A little, weak ballad. Her voice sounds...meh-ish a few times when she belts out 'I can't unlove you' really loud, but it's passable. [meh]
7. Positivity - This is a favorite of mine. Upbeat, and dancey (which is what Ashley is the best at, in my opinion) [love]
8. Love Me For Me - I'm not listening to this song right now, but I can't even remember it. So that means it's not grown on me yet, and it maybe never will Eh, generic. [love not so much]
9. Goin' Crazy - Club-type song. Kinda coy, Britney Spears-like. Easy to sing along to like. Fuuun! [like]
10. Over It - She's over it, in this in-your-face song. Not very original, but eh, it's fine. [like]
11. Don't Touch (The Zoom Song) - This song is a remake of the Tata Young song 'Zoom Song', which I love. So of course I love this. So cute, and techno-like. [love]
12. We'll Be Together - This song sounds like Disney-channel material. If you like that, fantastic, but I can't say I like this song. Maybe it will grow on me and I'll be singing along to it, but not for right now. Sounds a little fake to me, and just....blah. [not now]
13. Headstrong - A poppy sort of anthem, it's alright. Not great, but certainly not horrible. [like]
14. Suddenly - This song is a ballad about her fame, and it's not sooo bad, but not one of my favorites. She's the strongest on the fast-paced songs. [meh]
15. Who I Am - This is a Wal-Mart bonus track that SHOULD have been on the album. Sorta sounds like a Paris Hilton (with the breathy vocals) dance song, and I LOVE it. It also sounds like a bit like 'In The Zone' Britney Spears. Maybe my favorite. [love]
16. It's Life - Another Wal-Mart bonus track. A pop song. It's pretty good, and something to bop your head to. [like]
17. I Will Be Me - A Target bonus track. The music sounds like an Ashlee Simpson song, it's fine. A little bland, but it does the job. [meh]
The lyrics are a little weak, but the music is delicious. For the most part, I'm happy I bought this album. The cover is pretty cute, and I'm very happy that there are lyrics included (hate when they don't put them) So yeah, if you're a fan of her or heard a song and liked it, this should be a great purchase for you. Though Ashley tries to get out of the 'little kids' category by making some -older-type music, she kinda falls short. If you're looking for some meaningful songs, this might not be for you. But if you're looking for some fun pop-upbeat songs, this is pretty good.
