Free Music Review: I didn't think that it was going to be this AMAZING!
Hit: 5 Stars

Wow! I actually wasn't sure that Ashley could break away from her "Disney Girl" image. (Vanessa Hudgens debut failed in my opinion, but Ashley's is great.) I think she took a lot of time making this album, and it shows. It is really good sound quality and her voice is terrific.

1. Intro- Sounds really cool. A little sample of what the album has to offer. 8/10
2. So Much For You- 10/10 This song is catchy and I'm almost always singing along to it. My favorite line(s) is "If you want the world you got it. If you want the girl you got her." That part is especially energetic.
3. He Said, She Said - 10/10 Miss Tisdale! She is really breaking away from disney here. I love it. You can dance to it so easily. My fav. line(s) " He said You're amazing. She said Then why you waiting? No more deliberating, just like that they." I don't know why everybody is so worried about the "explicit" version. It's not that bad, and she's what, 21 years old? Give her a break. She doesn't want to do kiddie stuff forever, and the "explicit" version is better. The other is just corny.
4. Be Good To Me 9/10 Has a really good message. Can't describe it. It's just great. (just not my favorite.)Fav. Line "I don't ask for much. All I want is love. Someone to see, that's all I need."
5. Not Like That- 7/10 A good song but the line "So many girls be checkin' my style, checkin' my style, checkin' my style. So many girls be checkin' style and I don't even care, NO!" Get's on my nerves a little bit. But overall, I still like the song. Fav. Line "All the girls in the club got their eyes on me. They put me down cause of jealousy."
6. Unlove You- 8/10 Is kind of good but when she belt's out "I can't unlove you!" Really loud her voice sounds odd. Fav. Line "I can do most anything I have to. But I can't unlove you."
7. Positivity- 9/10 Really upbeat, and energetic! This is a wow song. Kind of a song you hear driving to the beach with your friends. Fav. Line "Won't you show me some baby. I got me goin' crazy. Come on and give it to me. Some positivity."
8. Love Me For Me- 50/10 This one of my favs! Great message, Great vocals. What's not to like? No problems with this song. Fav. Line "I'm not the girl that you see in the magazines. Perfect face, perfect body. Could never be anyone other than who I am. What I am. I can bend to your expectations, Live to fulfill any fantasy. If who I am is what you need." I also like "Love me with all of my imperfections. Not for an image of your design."
9. Goin' Crazy- 9/10 Another Great one. Good for clubs, and easy to sing to! Fav. Line "You got me goin' crazy, wanna be your baby. I really wish you knew what you do. I can't take my eyes off you."
10. Over It- 10/10 Ahh yes. The boyfriend who cheated song! Love it. She's saying you know what? I was never that close to you, and I'm over this, so goodbye! Nice Beat. Voted "All men are scum" song of the year (lol) Fav. Line "I don't care what you're sayin', I don't care what you're doin'. Never really had me, I'M OVER IT!"
11. Don't Touch (The Zoom Song)- 9/10 I don't have a fav. line because all of the lines are great. A wonderful remake.
12. We'll Be Together- 8/10 Reminds me of Mariah Carey. Really good ove song. A little repetitive. Fav. Line "We'll be together, Come what ever. Not just starin' at the stars." I also like "We'll be together, Come what ever. So don't ever stop listening to your. Cause I can't turn mine off."
13. Headstrong- 10/10 The title track. A good dancy song. Upbeat, and a good title track choice. Easy to remember. "This is a song my friends and I listen to when getting ready for a party. Fav. Line " Are you gonna be down with me, you are. Yeah, you're comin' along with me, you are."
14. Suddenly- 9/10 Song about her sudden coming to fame from HSM, Suite Life, and now this record. I can see her point, and how she feels that fame just came out of nowhere. Fav. Line "Suddenly People no my name, Suddenly I am center stage."
WALMART BONUS TRACKS:
1. Who I Am- 10/10 Catchy. Not much to say. Fav. Line "You never call me my name. Think I want you to change. You think you know me, but you don't really know who I am."
2. It's Life- 7/10 Okay. Admits she makes mistakes, and that life can be a struggle whether you're homeless, or a millionaire. A little forgettable. Fav. Line "I say the wrong things half the time. I'm only human."
Hope my review helped all of you. I think the album is a great buy. Just maybe a little odd, depending on your taste:)

Free Music Review: Ashley Breaks Away From Typical Disney Pop With Flying Colors!
Hit: 5 Stars

Ashley Tisdale is better known for her roles in populer Disney Channel programs such as 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody', 'High School Musical', and more recenty, 'Kim Possible'. She has shown she can act well, and sing, though not as strongly as others. But besides that fact, this CD is suprisingly fantastic. But if you're expecting a young Hilary Duff bubblegum pop from this raising starlet, you'll be disapointed. Think more along the lines of young Britney, Hit Me Baby One More Time and Opps, I Did It Again, then you're a bit closer to discribing the contents of "Headstrong".

Track Listing and Review:

Intro: A very short intro consisting of several bits from the other songs on the album (Unlove You, He Said, She Said, Headstrong, We'll Be Together, etc.) mixed together in a techno, dance mix style. I think this became one of my favorites, dispite the fact that it's one minute and three seconds, mostly because of the way it bridges to the next song.

5/5

So Much For You: Second track on the CD. Upbeat, cute, catchy, and fun, could probably get on Radio Disney without a sctrach, but not the best of them.

3/5

He Said, She Said: The track on here causing the most controversy. Truth be told, it isn't as bad as some claim, just a step up from usual bubblegum, hinting to things throughout the song, but never saying anything directly. It's pretty teen-safe. I really thought it was one of the better tracks, semi-spoken/rapped most of the time, but catchy no less.

5/5

Be Good to Me: The track most commercialized by Disney with the music video playing on Disney Channel. I wasn't quite as fond of it as I could of been at first, but it soon became one of my favorites within the whole CD.

5/5

Not Like That: This song can be both fiercely annoying or fiercely addictive, depending on your tastes. I personally loved it from the first listen, it sounds very different from the past tracks and brings a nice color to the CD.

4/5

Unlove You: One of the weaker tracks on the CD, vocal wise, a few strange notes during the chorus and it's a little oversung. I listen to it anyway, something still sticks with me about it.

2/5

Positivity: Another I had listen to a couple times before it grew on me. Closer to R&B then pop, very cute, with addictive beat. A semi-favorite.

4/5

Love Me For Me: This track doesn't stand out very much and often gets forgotten and lost in the shuffle when you listen to "Headstrong", but it does have some very strong points, very sweet, tender, is probably the second best romantic song here.

3/5

Going Crazy: Here's the track that reminds the most of some of the early 2000's pop stars. Another instant favorite, guaranteed to get you dancing and singing along by the chorus.

4/5

Over It: Catchy, cute, entertaining the first couple of listens, but this one gets real old real fast. Still pretty good though.

3/5

Don't Touch (The Zoom Song): The second most questionable song on the album ("You wanna get somewhere, then boy, don't touch me there," say the lyrics). This song is probably one of this album's top three, a great remake to a very awesome song.

5/5

We'll Be Together: This song has proven to be my favorite so far. So soft and sweet, but semi-powerful vocals that bring the wonderful song full circle. Similar to Christy Romano's 'Could It Be', this comes off as beutiful and tender.

5/5

Headstrong: My second favorite. A great, upbeat track that keeps you putting it on repeat for days to come!

5/5

Suddenly: Probaly that only track I didn't like, rather dull, but the lyrics were rather deep. I'll give her credit for that, seeing as she helped write them.

2/5

A great CD, I seriously suggest buying it, you'll get you money's worth!

Free Music Review: She's My Role Model
Hit: 5 Stars

I think that this cd rocks the house, seriously! Here are the songs I rated the best. So here they are
Intro- 4/5 Ok this song is pretty cool but I would really like it if it had more lyrics and more beat to it.
So Much For You- 3/5 It's ok but it's mostly like saying everythings for
you and she's letting you that's why they called it "So Much For You"
He Said She Said- 4/5 Ok I like the good version that she sang live in concert with her dancers and the High School Musical cast (cause I recently have been to the concert) but this explicit version is so not her, She's 21 and she's suppose to impress Disney with no explicit version.
Be Good To Me- 5/5 Wow! The Suite Life star with this song has totally amazed me from the suite life candy girl player to major pop star. And I love the rap totally just love it just do love it!
Not Like That- 5/5 Again with the rapping, I love the Indian sound and beat to the song and I love the lyrics.
Unlove You- 5/5 This song's one of my number one songs because of the mellow and the beat to the song, she kind of sounds like Kelly Clarkson in the beginning of the song and then she just feels like herself throughout the whole entire song, that's why I love it so much!
Positivity- 5/5 I love this song it's so perfect that she picked this song for her album this time because it really actually explains everybody at a time where people are hurt and are needing help instead of just saying bad things to make themselfs feel bad that's why it's called "Positivity".
Love Me For Me- 3/5 This song's ok the melody, the voice, the lyrics, and everything is fine when she says "Love Me For Me" like she makes you loving her for herself and somebody she's not.
Goin' Crazy- 5/5 I love this song on my charts it's number two because it kind of sounds like Britney Spears songs and her voice a little bit, but that's why I love that song so much!
Over It- 4/5 I like the beginning with the phone call and then I heard Ashley wrote parts of the song that's kind of what I like to see now and then but her voice still kind of sounds like Britney Spears and the beat within this song again.
Don't Touch (The Zoom Song)- 5/5 This is my most favorite song because of the beat, lyrics, and last but not least the "zoom zoom"!
We'll Be Together- 5/5 I love this song because the beat's kind of slow but mostly it's rockin' to the end, that's why I love it so much!
Headstrong- 5/5 Waaaay over the top ten this is her song title for her album, I love the song and it really explains her in a way that it explains herself in her own way.
Suddenly- 5/5 Again,I like it but it's not really to much my favorite, the beat is slow, the lyrics are great, and last but not least it reminds me of Broadway.
I recommend getting this album because it's upbeat and pop! Like I said,I told you she's gone from Suite Life to a major mini rapping pop star!

Free Music Review: Great Album!
Hit: 5 Stars

I just got this album today and I love it! A big leap for Ashley, which is a good and bad thing. Here is my review:

Intro- 10/10- Cool beat and vibe, and like how it leads into the next song. Simple, but cool.

So Much For You- 10/10 - I personally think that this song is really good! Not my absolute favorite song on the whole album, but it sure is one of them.

He Said, She Said- 2/10 - The reason this song only gets 2 stars, is because Ashley puts the explicit version of the song. I don't like songs like that, so I went on Limewire and had the "good" version put on a CD, and that's what I listen to. I don't like this version. What happened to Maddie from the Suite Life?

Be Good To Me- 9/10- Great song. I've heard many times, but I still like it. I also like the little rap section that was included.

Not Like That - 9/10 - Fun, funky song. I like the Japanese sounding beginning, and it's a really catchy, good song.

Unlove You - 7/10- A good song, but not great. She can't exactly hit all those high notes, but there's something about it, that makes me still like it. Good song, not teriffic.

Positivity- 15/10- Best song on the album! Not much more I have to say about it. It's a just a great song period.

Love Me for Me- 9/10 - Great lyrics, great beat, great melody, really pretty ballad.

Goin' Crazy- 9/10 - I do agree that it is a little Britney Spears like, but I still like this song, and it's really catchy.

Over It- 8/10- Good song, but the phone call in the beginning was a little weird, but the song's good.

Don't Touch- 5/10- Here's the problem with this song: Hate the lyrics, love the melody. They don't mix. I want to listen to this song because I love the beat and melody, but I know what the lyrics are about, and I hate them. It's just not Ashley.

We'll Be Together- 9/10- Cute, fun, and free ballad. I like this song.

Headstrong- 10/10- Fun, upbeat, great song. A great title track.

Suddenly- 10/10 A great ending, and I think that this song is really pretty.

Bonus Tracks-

Who I Am- 9/10- A little weird, but overall, it's a great song with a funky beat.

It's Life - 10/10- I love this song! Probably one of the best songs on the album.

Overall Grade: A- or a B+ (I can't decide)

SO BUY THIS CD! YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!!!!!
