Ashley Tisdale's headstrong was the first CD I ever bought. I found it on a trip to Claire's with my mom and wasn't even thinking about buying it, but I did. And I'm so happy I did! This Cd was a breakthrough for me because it opened music to my life! I can't remember a time when music wasn't a part of my life anymore.
Even though now I listen to other "types" of music, it was great to begin with :) and I still consider it to be amazing music.

Free Music Review: Guilty Pleasure

I had no idea who Ashley Tisdale was before I heard the single: "He Said She Said". I immediately fell in love with the sugary pop sound and the catchy beat and lyrics. This is bubblegum pop at its finest.
The material on this CD appeals to all audiences and me being 30 years old proves that! LOL She has a decent voice as well - with a great range. There are a lot of the standard pop songs that have excellent beats and quite a few slower ballads that really show off Ashley's voice in them. The melodies are irresistible and you cannot help but tap your toes to these songs. It reminds me of the days of the Debbie Gibson, Tiffany and Expose music where the songs have the good beats, are fun and do not tackle too serious of issues.
This CD is a great guilty pleasure of mine and I cannot stop listening to it.

WOOOOOOW!! Ashley made it!! this album is just incredible let me tell you why, nowadays it is really hard to find an artist that release a debut album and you like it from beginning to end, Ashley's headstrong album is like that, I actually bought this cd blindly because since High School Musical I said to myself that she was going to be my idol and favorite actress, singer, so I bought it and believe since march (when I got it) it is still my favorite cd and I just listen to it over and over and never get tired of it, it is so good, and all the songs are catchy and you just want to learn them.
Ashley will be BIG, she is going to the top, she has everything that takes to be a worldwide idol and well she is my idol already.
You really really have to buy the album, you won't regret it is AWESOME.
Free Music Review: The new Gwen Stefani.

With this album, Ashley Tisdale definitely shows us that she's far away from Sharpay and Maddie and that she is a kind of new Gwen Stefani.
Actually, the songs "be good to me", "not like that", "going crazy" and above all "headstrong", are clearly inspired by Gwen Stefani's style( Besides, she said so herself in various interviews.), but with a touch of fineness, that according to me G.S sometimes lacks.
With the songs "so much for you", "unlove you", "positivity", "love me for me", "over it", "We'll be together" and "suddenly" show us more than the other songs who, as a singer, Ashley really is.
Don't hesitate to buy this album if you really like to listen to good music.

Free Music Review: "Headstrong" is AMAZING!

From Suite Life to High School Musical and now her own debut album, Ashley Tisdale has done it all! I love her "Intro" where it mixes all the songs, it's unique. She's got some dance songs that makes you want to jump out of your seat and turn it all the way up like "Not Like That" and "So Much For You." Sad and slow inspirational songs are also nice too like "Unlove You" and "Suddenly." Listeners can hear the different ways her voice can sing. Ashley has talent and she's not afraid to use it either, she's "Headstrong!" The songs on this CD is catchy and will get you singing along in no time. Some of my fave songs are her singles "Be Good to Me" and "He Said She Said." I love them both. "We'll be Together" is so sweet. This CD is a must have for any Ashley Tisdale fan!
