Free Music Review: As great as the 80s

Saw ASIA in concert last year expecting a semi-cheesy 80s band reunion. Wrong! They rocked. Got the new cd when it came out and went to see them again since. The cd is reflective and the songs really seem to have personal meaning. I recommend listening to it more than once before you make your decision about it. I love it. If Asia's first album is one of the greatest debuts for a band, Phoenix is one of the best reunions. It is a dream come true for this long time Asia fan. Sure the John Payne era produced some great works (most noteably Aura and Silent Nation), but a return of the original was always hoped for. As I still listen to the classic Asia and Alpha albums, I know in 25 years Phoenix will continue to be played.Free Music Review: Return of a Supergroup

This is a classic Asia album. Not just a collection of beautiful, lasting songs but an album and that's something you don't find too often these days. Four original members of Asia reunited first on stage and now with this great cd. I do hope there is more to come because, like this album tells, they are in fine form. In 80's they were entitled a "Supergroup" in 2008 they are still firmly in power.Free Music Review: Arising from the ashes...

As a follower of all the various forms of Asia over the years, this CD met and exceeded my excitement and expectations from the band. Asia has had many talented musicians come through their doors, but I fell in love with the band that I heard in the early 80's. These original 4 members have come to define "Asia" for me. Excellent CD, guys, well worthy of the Asia name... and a 25 year wait!Free Music Review: Are you kidding me? What a shocker...this CD is brilliant!

Asia is a great band, but let's be honest, most bands don't make great CD's in different generations from their heyday.....Wooah, Asia didn't get the memo on that. This CD is brilliant, all killer, no filler....vocals, keyboards, the 'big' airy sound that is Asia is all here! Buy immediately.
