When I heard RATM was gaining Chris Cornell as the lead vocalist for their new band Audioslave, I was a little wary...I was never into Soundgarden all that much, however, I think Cornell is great in Audioslave...This album I particularly like, as most of my favorite Audioslave songs(Cochise, and Bring Em' Back Alive) are on it. They have good lyrics, and Morello's solos are very innovative and intriguing(although not as good as RATM). A great band for the casual rock listener, and I highly recommend it!Free Music Review: Great

Wow, how much do I not like this album--lets just say I'm still trying to work my way up to a second listen. The only songs I really like are the ones I'd heard before I bought the album. I could have just played them on YouTube and been happy. There are only five good songs on the whole thing, in my book that's not good enough. I found myself getting irritated little over halfway through. What is going on here? I thought I found a sure bet and all I found was regret.Free Music Review: Best album ever!

I had this CD in my car player for six months and listened to it every day. I love it! I still listen to it often. Rough and hard but not in a grating annoying way. Skillful music and lyrics. Buy it and rock out!!Free Music Review: Audioslave, what can I say?

Audioslave is not quite hard rock or soft pop or mainstream alternative. It almost has a hint of jazz.
