Free Music Review: Great Album
Hit: 4 Stars

this is an amazing album not as hard as the first album, but more rocking than the second if your a fan of audioslave you'll love it has more of a bass and funk beat to it and chris's vocals are amazing!

Free Music Review: AUDIO SLAVE REVELATIONS

AWESOME SOUND! I LOVED SOUNDGARDEN, SO I'M GLAD AUDIO SLAVE IS CONTINUING THE DIFFERENT SOUND THAT THEY HAVE. LOVE IT!

Free Music Review: Revelations-Audioslave
Hit: 3 Stars

Overall a pretty good album, music & lyrics not quite as good as Out of Exile.

Free Music Review: The finest Audioslave album......Period.
Hit: 5 Stars

While Revelations wasn't as good as the debut it still manages to surpass Out of exile which I thought was dissapointing. Revelations sees Audioslave back to form and start rocking out loud and you can see the musical vision carry through, the album is a lot more funkier and the songs are very catchy without losing any integrety they have expanded thier musical horizons and made a creative album. Tom Morello does his signature guitar noises and amazing solos which is great because it was definitely missing on their previous album (Doesn't remind me was a terrible song) even though it wasn't that bad it was just very average. When I first listened to this album I thought that they've finally found their sound with a cross between rage against the machine and some classic rock like Led Zepplin, The who ect. The highlights are Shape of things to come, Broken city, Revelations, Moth and the very catchy song Original fire. This album is definitely worth the money and could possibly beat out most of these lame modern rock bands that are being played on the radio.

Free Music Review: AMAZING!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I was very very skeptical about this album especially since my favourite bands were going downhill one after the other. Metallica did it a few years ago with St.Anger, then Godsmack did it with IV (which was the biggest dissapointment of the lot), and then RHCP did it by releasing a Pop album with some added bass lines.

So I picked this up expecting to be let down, and I really wasnt very impressed with Original fire, it somehow seemed overly simplistic in structure.

First off I have to tell u, I am a HUGE Chris Cornell fan. In my opinion he is simply the best vocalist ever, no doubt. I am also a fan of Tom Morellos chops, and the vibe that the 3 from rage bring, there is an authentic "u have to move for this music" feel for what they play

That said, this album started out with a slow song...not slow as such, but compared to openers like Cochise, I went huh when I heard it first.
It took me a couple of listens to get into this album, but then MAN, am I hooked. THere are some really catchy funky feeling rock out songs in this album. Heres my breakdown of the album

Revelations - Actually a good opener even though its no Blazin rocker. Its got a pretty catchy tune, the guitar effects rawk!!!

One and the Same - This is one weird song when you hear it for the first time, the chorus sounds sort of empty, but then you start singing the chorus after hearing it a couple of times, neat ending and solo

Sound of a Gun - This is sort of a so so song, nothing great.

Until We Fall - This is a pretty good slow song, Chris does a decent job

Original Fire - I never did like this song all that much, but you dont mind listening to it

Broken City - In my opinion, the BEST song on the album. No one can sing this song like Chris has, no chance, stunning song

Someday - This is another song which u start singing after a while, its actually quite good

Shape of Things to Come - An average song, nothing special

Jewel of a summer time - Completely different feel, kinda funky, awesome song!!!

Wide Awake - 3/5

Nothing to Say - nothing to say

Moth - Another stunning song, all out rocker, Chris at the top of his game

Overall, I would rate this higher than Out of Exile simply because it is so fresh. I'm so glad this band didnt sell out like the others I mentioned above!!!
