For the first time I purchased a soundtrack before seeing the movie and couldn't be happier. Myself and kids (4,6,8) enjoy listening to the entire soundtrack, which makes for pleasant drives. I could not wait for the release of the movie and the kids are begging to see it as well. Track 10 (August's Raphsody) is powerful and moving everytime. Rhys Meyers vocals and songs are very soulful. The guitar and cello solos are beautiful. Highly recommend this CD. I think this may be the first time I have given anything 5 solid stars. Free Music Review: Beautiful soundtrack!

August Rush was a wonderful movie with a perfectly selected cast and topped-off with a fabulous musical score--a great blend of different types of music. I loved the movie so much that I have taken 3 different people to see it, making it 4 times for myself. The music was such a critical part of this movie that when I think about the film, it is the musical scenes that come to mind. I couldn't wait for the soundtrack and I was not disappointed. The opening tract was just perfect and brought me right back to the beginning of the film which only whet my appetite for the rest of the CD. I love it.
I highly recommend seeing this film and then purchase the CD.
