Well I can't say that I have all of A7X albums or that I'm the biggest fan but I can say that I bought this self titled album and really do like it. I appreciate all the riffs on alot of their songs and the drumming is awesome..Gunslinger is an unexpected beat for them but the lyrics to this song are AWESOME! It makes me remember a loved one that's passed away recently and believe it or not has helped me cope with the loss. I got the same feeling from the last track Dear God. I haven't skipped any song on this album cause it's just that damn good. A7X is AWESOME and I know what I like and I like it ALOT!!! I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!Free Music Review: Love it!!!!

I must say when I first bought this CD I was disappointed. I only listened to two songs on it(Almost Easy and Scream) then skipped through the rest of them. I then however went to the Rockstar Energy Taste of Chaos show featuring Avenged Sevenfold and was blown away by their performance! They performed every song from this CD and it gave me a different perspective of it. After leaving the concert I listened to the CD again all the way through and realized that the entire CD is great. If you're one of the people that is disappointed with this CD then go see them live in concert and I guarantee you'll leave with a different opinion of it.Free Music Review: Awesome Album!

There are some albums out there that are so good you tell all your friends about it, and this is one of them. The songs are different, interesting, and energizing. The last thing I want to hear is the same song with different lyrics 10 times. I hadn't heard of this band before, and hearing this album made me go back to their previous albums which also had some great tracks on them. The only oddity on this CD is the last two tracks. The second to last seems kind-of like an experiment, and the last track is country I think.. It's good, but I'm not sure it fits with the first two tracks which are AWESOME if you like heavy metal.Free Music Review: buy 5 Stars
this is an awesome CD, way different than the others (witch i love get them too if you don't have). i love all the songs on the self titeled. i like that A7X isn't afraid to change their sound they've done it with every album & they've done it well! i hate that a lot of people are calling them sellouts 'cause they don't sound like they did in WTF (shut the F*** up you don't know what your talking about). if they do the same songs over & over, their going to get bored & not want to make music any more. A7X is the best thing that EVER happened to music, & i hope their around for a long time. keep it up A7X!!!!Free Music Review: One of the best CD's I've ever heard

This CD is excellent. This band is one of the best. The songs are very well written and thought provoking but still well worth rocking out to. "Afterlife" and "Piece of Heaven" are my favorites. "Afterlife" has become an obsession of mine because of it's message and the way M Shadows sings and the guitar playing by Synyster Gates. These guys are very talented. "Piece of Heaven" is an adventure of a song and not what you might think from the title. It's crazy and wonderful. The rest of the CD is great and that's something I can rarely say. If you're looking for a different sound this is definitely worth it.
