Reviews on here are not what I thought they would be. You can hear all the tracks on Youtube and they sound great. Sure, most of them are about boys and not needing them but regardless they are catchy and different. She has borrowed from Blink 182 and a little from the Ramones for the bonus track Alone.
I will buy this the minute I can. My faves are Runaway, Hot, I don't have to try, Everything back but you and Alone. One of the great things about her music is that every track is great and this cd is no different. She has returned to punk but still has some ballads, like When you're gone- which is great.
She uses the words Hey Hey a little to often but if you liked her other albums then you should give this one a try. It is a little more girly because she IS a girl and it's called girl power.

I love it!
Whenever I lisen to it, it puts me in such a good mood.
Its like one disk full of positivity. Youll find yourself humming every one of these songs at some point after you buy the cd. Its catchy, fun, bratty, agressive, in your face, rocky, poppy. Its really everything you could ever want. I love this album, and i dont see why everyone else isnt feeling the same way.
The ballads are excellent!
The boy bashing songs, certainly bash the boys,
The pop songs, are like a package of pop rocks.
I dont see the problem.
Really its a great cd. All my friends and including my self own this disk, and are damn happy. End of story.

Just so everyone knows this is not they Trudy who typed the other reviews. This is her daughter, Mossmask.
Anyway...I simply love Avril Lavigne!, and I hate those who say her voice sucks or that she's bratty-cause she's NOT! I think she sings awesomely and people can connect to her sings. Plus, she is a very strong person. Did you know she sang at a concert the same day her grandfather died-after he died? Some of earth's population may think she is just horrorible and that she cusses too much (my dad thinks that) but I disagree, though I do think she does cuss a lot... So don't to so loser
who dises Avril. They are WRONG! Avril Lavigne is definitely one of my favorite artists and is totally one of the best female singers EVER!

All it should matter it's the fact that it's an absolutely fun and solid album. It's one of the best ones of the year. There are no fillers at all. Every single song is pretty empowering, makes you feel all energetic and happy! I love to play it while I'm on my car and sing to the top of my lungs thinking that "I can do better", that I can totally forget all those ex-lovers that have done me so much harm... Yeah, maybe there are no deep lyrics but who cares? Sometimes it's all about the fun. When you are in the mood to get depressed and deep, then play some Tori Amos. When you just wanna have fun driving around, put on "The best damn thing"!Free Music Review: couldn't be better!!
