Free Music Notes for Az YetFree Music Review: Cover Of Chicago's "Hard To Say I'm Sorry" Hit: 5 StarsAz Yet has a cover of Chicago's "Hard To Say I Am Sorry", with Peter Cetera, to be copied in the voice of 1982.
Free Music Review: Great Album!!!! Hit: 5 StarsI am really suprised that these guys did not hit it big and stay there....this is a great album...not too many slow songs..but the ones that are on the album are beautiful...
Free Music Review: Loved it! Hit: 5 StarsI absolutely love this CD. I bought it when it first came out, and I used to listen to it everyday, a few times a day. But recently I found my CD and it was CRACKED! Anyhow , I'm about to buy it again. But I wanted to let everybody know that this CD is definetly hot, you don't have to skip any songs because they all are good.
Free Music Review: 2.5 stars -- One and out.... Hit: 3 StarsAnd there really shouldn't be any surprise. As one reviewer wrote, aside from the superb lead single "Last Night", there really isn't anything else on this mediocre Laface record. What is most disturbing is that you can throw this record on simultaneously with another Laface act, A Few Good Men, and think it is the same artist. They both sound very good, with quality harmony and variety in vocals, but they both suffer from the unoriginality of Laface's production team. And it's disappointing too because of their track record up until the mid-90s.
Despite its shortcomings, there are, believe it or not, a couple quality tracks. "Hard to Say I'm Sorry" is quite charming, almost rivaling the original, and "Through the Heart" is enjoyable for a while. However, it still does not salvage the album as a whole, especially with "Last Night" being a monster hit.
In sum, Az Yet's only effort did enjoy marginal success by barely scraping platinum sales and producing two major hits. However, that does not counter the fact that Az Yet was a run-up-the-mill group with run-up-the-mill production. In other words, if you enjoyed "Last Night" and/or "Hard to Say I'm Sorry", cop the cd singles.
Free Music Review: I LOVE this album. Hit: 5 StarsI remember I was so in love with this group (and their music) when they first came out! This is one of the few albums that I can honestly listen to without having to skip ANY songs. They had so much promise! I still wonder why they didn't make anymore albums? This album is recommended to anyone that enjoys the serenade style of such artists as Boys II Men. Though not popular, it is a worthy buy.
