Free Music Review: This CD rocks!

This CD is one of the best CDs I've ever bought. The guys of BBMak are so talented! They write most of the songs on the CD, and they play their own instruments, too. On top of all that, they've got amazing voices! I've owned this CD for more than a year, but it never gets old. My favorites are "Not In Love," an upbeat, catchy song, "Ghost of You and Me," which almost sends shivers down your spine, and "Still on Your Side," which is just a plain awesome song. Trust me, this is one CD purchase you WILL NOT regret!Free Music Review: Well Done, BBmak!

If anyone was bored enough to check out my user info stuff where you can read my past reviews on CDs, you'll notice that I've rated almost all albums 5 stars. Some of them don't really deserve 5 stars, because I reviewed some during my artist "week-long obsessions" where I would be totally obsessed about that artist or band for a week. I didn't want this review to turn out like one of those, so I tried to shy away from what maybe another "week-long obsession", with BBMak. But that's beside the point. So back to the album. It's been out for more than two years, and I got it two days ago. Why I waited this long, I don't know. I really regret it, because I'm enjoying it a lot. If I could, I would've given them a 4.8 for this album. I had to chip that .2 star off (if I could) because some of the vocals seem to lack some strength. On some songs I really wish that they would sing with a bit more of an "umph", should I say? And also, as the album goes on, some of the songs seem to lose a slight bit of originality. But they still sound good. It's a great album overall, with great songs, and enjoyable vocals.
I tend to enjoy the up beat songs more than the slow ones, and my favorites are the two singles "Back Here" and "Still On Your Side", and also "I'm Not In Love" and "Love On the Outside".
I believe BBmak is talented, who can write and produce much of their songs (which you can't see much of these days, especially among those "boy bands" which BBmak is falsely categorized as). They're also very good looking, which is always a plus, right?
I also love their new single, "Out of My Heart (Into Your Head)". I'm most likely to get their new album too. I know BBmak will have much success in the future of their career. Well done, BBmak!

Free Music Review: Believe it all!

A boy-band that plays and writes. A brit-pop group that rocks. Better harmonies than NSync and Backstreet Boys combined. More 5 star reviews than you could count on your whole family's hands and feet combined. Skeptical? Don't be. It's all true. "Boy-band" only in the sense that they are 3 "good-looking" (I'm a guy, I just take the girls' word for it) boys in a band. Yes, they are British but you'd have a hard time telling from their songs if you didn't know. They wrote well over half the songs (more like 75%) on their debut album, Sooner Or Later, and play them all; acoustic and electric guitar that actually drive it all. Their voices are soothing and soft rather than annoying and harsh (i.e. NSync) and can actually harmonize, beautifully at that. What's more, their lyrics are strong, pure, and simple (makes them sooo easy to relate to). There's something on here for almost everyone, from bouncy feel-good to soaring pop rock to tear-jerking ballads. Words alone can't describe how good these guys are. Have a listen from a friend's copy or download any track, whether on this album or not, and see for yourself. The music really speaks for itself.Free Music Review: Great Album

I love these guys. I totally reccomend this cd.Back Here- I won't get into this one much since you've probaly heard it but its a good track.
I'm Not In Love- This was a really nice song. And it gives a good message to girls or anybody who falls in love too quickly.
Next Time- I really like this one. Midtempo and just a good song.
Unpredictable-I don't really like this song, but it's still a good one.
Ghost Of You and Me- This is one of my faves. Nice slow jam that you can listen to over and over.
I Can Tell- I like this one, especially during the brigde when the guys are like "Oh I, Oh I"
Love Is Leaving- This is my fave track off the cd. Its about letting go of somebody you thought loved you. Best track by far.
Love on The OUtside-alright
Still On Your Side- Good song
Always-good song
Cant' Say- I really like this one. Its good
Again- This is my second fave track off the cd. It's real slow/ I love it.
Free Music Review: FRIGGEN GOOD!!

This cd is so friggen good. It's the only one that actually stays in my car. I even burned a copy of the original so I could have one in the house and one in the car. And all the songs are great, I don't even have to skip tracks. And come on, who doesn't love a british accent? And you can't deny, it doesn't hurt to have a pretty face. But honestly, this is the best cd I have and I can't wait 'til Aug. 27th when their new one comes out! Woo hoo!!
