Free Music Review: BBMak Rocks! :) Hit: 5 StarsA good debut for the guys of BBMak in the states. The CD is pop - but not dull, computerized stuff you will find on the CD shelves. These guys have vocal talent and the music is very guitar driven. If you don't know whether or not you like them - I suggest you download - "I Can Tell", "Back Here", "The Ghost of You And Me"Fabulous CD!
Free Music Review: Back Here, Bayba! Hit: 5 StarsThe first time I heard the song "Back Here," was when I was watching MTV. It is one of those songs that you can really relate to, the lyrics are terrific, and the vocals are superb! I use this song whenever I write a really deep letter to someone very special! (Because the feelings and thoughts envoked by this song make it ever so much easier to write down on paper.) If you wanna have like a favorite song, for you as a couple, this would definetly be it!
Free Music Review: Best of the British!! Hit: 5 StarsIts official-THE BRITISH ARE COMING!! Being British myself, I am proud of BBMak!! I first heard them in about 1998/1999 when they first released "Back Here"-unfortunately, even though I bought it, the single didn't chart and the lads seemed to have left the British scene. Then, all of a sudden in 2000/2001, they exploded back on to the music scene, re-releasing "Back Here"-doing loads of promotion this time and it paid of because the single peaked at no.5!! They then released "Still on Your Side", a lovely happy song about always being there for someone no matter what, which was also a success. I then went out and bought the album and was really glad that I did so! BBMak may be a boyband, but they are no typical boyband-they play their own instruments and write their own songs; their music is very diverse-they can do the poppy uptempo numbers, but they can also do the acoustic numbers and ballads. And their voices?! WOW!! They all have fantastic voices which harmonise beautifully together. My fav's on the album are "Back Here", "Im Not in Love", "Love on the Outside", "Can't Say" and "Again"!I highly recommend getting this album because it can suit any mood you are in and their voices are just superb to listen to-to be honest, you wouldn't think they were British!! Go on, give it a try!!
Free Music Review: I am GLAD I got this ;D Hit: 5 StarsBBMak is talented, even if people choose to mesh them into a pot of boybands such as Backstreet and NSYNC. They have vocal talent, as well as songwritting and instrumental talent.I admit, some of the songs do have a pop sound to it, but they also throw in an acoustic guitar and meaningful lyrics. At least they write their stuff. It isn't heavy pop like NSYNC or Backstreet where everything is based on computers and a slide of the switch. If you don't like pure bubble gum pop take a chance with BBMAK. If you must download a song I recommend these: 'I Can Tell', 'Ghost of You And Me' or 'Next Time'
