I heard Hilary Hahn live, here in the Netherlands and I was stunned by the performance. She played Bach, the second Partita. It was amazing. I was looking forward to listen to her Bach violin concertos. But when I heard them, I was really disappointed. She plays them technically perfect, but this is not what I heard in the music hall. Her violin concertos are not inspiring. They have no soul, no meaning. I wish she played them like she plays the Bach partitas.A dissapointed Dutchmen
