Free Music Notes for MillenniumFree Music Review: Backstreet are always in our hearts Hit: 5 Stars
This album is my favorite in the world, there is absolutly no competion. I brought it 3 days after it came out (I waited 3 whole days?! i must be slipping) and it's had the honor of being my fav. ever since. (even my Aunty makes me play it over - not that I need encouragement to do that). I won't review every song, just the better ones, but they're all graet really!Larger Than Life - from the moment A.J.'s wild laugh kicks it off, you know this is going to be an awsome song. Backstreet have found the perfect song for the fans, with a strong beat and wild lyrics, this is one thankyou you won't forget in a hurry. I Want It That Way - a record breaker from the day it was released, this is the amazing song that earned BSB thousands of new fans and scored no.1 in over 15 countrys. All the boy's seperate voices are heard easily, this song will keep Backstreet in your heart forever. Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely - a wonderfull slow track that proves the guys really can sing. Cheack out the clip, sad but very well done. It's Gotta Be You - It's Gotta be Backstreet, Uh huh Uh huh. Don't miss this one, it's one of my favorites, it just makes you want to jump up and dance. I Need You Tonight - Ahh, a beautiful song by Nick. It'll go round your head for years. Gotta love the choir at the end, it goes so well with Nick's sweet voice. Don't Want You Back - reminds you of Backstreet's Back, it's got the same exciting sort of tune. It did take me a while to get used to it, but now it's another of my favorites. Back To Your Heart - You are Never, EVER going to forget this song. Words don't come close enough to describe it, just go listen to it. Perfect Fan - is Brian's song to his mother, to say thanks for always being there for him. He dosen't sing it all himself, but that dosen't seem to affect any BSB fan's love of it. I live in Australia and we have a different version with 2 extra songs of Millennium, No One Else Comes Close and You Wrote The Book On Love. They are just typical Backstreet songs, as close to not Outstamding as Backstreet songs get, but they are definitly worth a listen if you can get hold of them. For any Backstreet fan, this is a CD not to be missed. For me and probably any true BSB fan, Backstreet Boys will never have to find their way 'Back to our hearts' - they'll never leave them.
Free Music Review: my most listened-to cd! Hit: 5 Stars
i fell in love with the "boys" in '97 when i was 11. ok you can call me a teenage girl who loves any boy band that comes along, but hey! these guys are for real! i probably listen to millenium at least 2-3 times a week. and iv'e been doing that since i got it. here's the reviews on the songs: Larger then Life: I LUV THIS SONG! the first time i heard it on the radio, i was like WOW, these guys are actually thanking their fans!! COOL! no other boy band that i know of has done that in a song. I want it that way: i could sing this song in my sleep and i'm still not sick of it! probably one of my fave BSB songs. Show me the Meaning of being Lonely: alot of people don't get the meaning of this song, i had to listen to it a bunch before i did. i love the melody, it's so pretty, and especially all the strings in the backround. It's gotta be YOU: this is just one of those songs that make you wanna dance! love it! i need you tonight: nicks solo, not the best one on the labum bit still pretty good Don't want You back: this is an edgy song. it's cool, cuz it's differant from anything the've done before. Don't Wanna lose you Now: this is my fave slow song, so pretty with the guitar. The one: this is the one!!! it's soo fun to sing along with in the car! or if your'e cleaning up the house! Back to your Heart: kevin wrote this. i like it, one of the longer songs on the album. Spanish eyes: this song had grown on me. at first i didn't really like it, but now i do.i like the music. no ONe else Comes close: i think this is a sweet song, about a guys devotion to his girl, that she's in a class of her own. The perfect fan: brian(my fave Boy) wrote this for his mom, and it's me and my friends song. i heard it and i was like WOW, that is so sweet and it made me feel closer to them and it made them more lifelike, not just a celebrity, cuz they have moms and dads too, it made them more REAL for me. ok iv'e said enuf, borrow it from a friend or buy it. i got my copy for a present, and i have not regretted asking for it.oh by the way i DON"T like nstync or 98 degrees. the boys are the best!
Free Music Review: BACKSTREET BOYS : MILLENNIUM Hit: 5 Stars
I am male and from England, therefore proving that this cd can appeal to everyone & not just 12 year old girls that the stereotypical view would have you believe. This cd is a must for all music lovers! It successfully combines some romatic ballads, with some edgy songs, along with some songs that will just make u wana sing along! I have to admit that the backstreet boys went un-noticed to me untill the release of this album along with the single "I want it that way". Since then i have listned to their previous two albums, which although are good, do not compare to this one. The tracks that especially stood out for me are: 1.LARGER THAN LIFE - A very good song. It has relatively hard-edged futuristic feel to it. And if your like me you will find yourself singing along to it in the car! (Co-Written by Brian Littrel - the guy who does most of the singing) 2.I WANT IT THAT WAY - A absolutely brilliant song! I must have heard this song more times than any1 else on the planet! 3.SHOW ME THE MEANING...: A good song which portrays the hardships that that several members have gone through over the last couple of years. 4.ITS GOTTA BE YOU: A summer song through & through! fantastic. 5.DONT WANT U BACK: One of the outstanding tracks on the album without doubt. A release of this would go along to improving their reputation as artists & increaseing their fanbase. 6.THE ONE: Another brilliant summery song, which can appeal to every1. (Co-written by Brian Littrel) 7.BACK TO YOUR HEART: A very good romantic song, which i have to admit i did not like the first few times i heard it, but once you've heard it several times and understood the meaning behind the song, you too will love it! Definately a grower! (Co-Written by Kevin Richardson- the guy with the big eye-brows)So there you go, i hope you take my advice & buy this cd! It is truely brilliant. However, it still does not beat 'Californication' (Chilli-Peppers) & 'The sound of science' (Beastie Boys). I love this cd and you will too. THIS CD IS A MUST FOR ALL MUSIC FANS! Alex Blundell,

i had this CD for a long time now and yet it still manages to find its way back into my stereo system and ipod. more often than not, music gets old if you listen to it over and over again. however, this is not the case with this particular album. even tho i don't personally recommend it to heavy metal head bangers (except myself LOL)specifically, i do highly recommend it to everyone who appreaciates good music. don't discriminate against a particular genre of music just because it's that genre (whether it be punk, pop, rock, metal, international...). take time and listen to w/o being biased. you'll probably discover that it's quite listenable, quite good!
take this album by the bsb for example. it is composed of the perfect tunes and melodies that any artist could possibly accomplish making. it includes the song that virtually everyone knows -- i want it that way (whether u decide to admit it or not). not only that, it has many other wonderful ballads that are such great listens. My favorite one on the album is "no one else comes close" even though you really have to give credits to Joe. my second fave is "show me the meaning" because it talks about the reality of death and i personally, can relate to it on a certain mature level.
i hate the music played on radios these days. to me they're like cacophony. most of the artists can't sing live -- can't do anything live and it really sucks to see what the music industry is slowly becoming -- actually it's already shaped into something disgusting. however i can't do anything about it but to appreciate the music i think deserves more credit than some others.
MILLENNIUM is a great album, put aside the fact that it is by the backstreet boys and listen to it. you'll be surprised how good it actually is! bsb have grown up to be adults and they're continuing to release albums as they mature into their 30s and beyond. if you listen to their 2005 LP "never gone", you will notice a huge difference in sound, melody, and other areas.
try this album i don't think you'll regret it
Free Music Review: The Greatest Album of the Backstreet Boys Hit: 5 Stars
This is an album u can listen to until it's worn out. The songs are good with catchy tunes and beautiful lyrics.1. "Larger Than Life" is devoted to all their fans. Great lyrics that explain how much they love their fans. 5 out of 5 2. "I Want it That Way" is an all-time classic. Don't believe me? Well, Rolling Stone, MTV, and Billboard thinks so. I love this song, I would say it is my favorite, but I have about 10 favorites that I can't pick my #1. 5 out of 5 3. "Show Me the Meaning" is a song of what they have went through in their lives. If u listen to it closely, u can actually feel their sadness. It's the most mature song on the album. 5 out of 5 4. "It's Gotta Be You" has a great bounce to it that makes you go crazy. Another one of my favorites. 5 out of 5. 5. "I Need You Tonight" is a great ballad with music that's unplugged. The song is a solo by Nick Carter. Lyrics aren't repeating, which is some thing new in pop music. (Nsync, are u taking notes? ) 5 out of 5 6. "Don't Want U Back" is an R and B kind of sound which for some reason, I don't like very much. 3 out of 5 7. "Don't Wanna Lose You Now" is a soft ballad that says they will do anything just to get that special girl back. It makes u feel like there are still guys out there that really care. 5 out of 5 8. "The One" has a great beat to it, but.....not on my top ten list! 4 out of 5 9. "Back to Your Heart" what a great song! Co-Wrote by Kevin Richardson, it's a really soft song with beautiful keyboard music. Kevin, wherever you are, GREAT JOB! 10 out of 5 10. "Spanish Eyes" shows the influence and background of some of the members of the BSB. (Howie and AJ to be exact) 5 out of 5 11. "No One Else Comes Close" Great song very nice and mature. 5 out of 5 12. "Perfect Fan" It is such a sweet song. Dedicated to their moms. In concert in Kentucky, u can see Kevin and Brian with their moms. 5 out of 5
