This is an awesome CD- along with the first "greatest hits" compilation. Even my 18 month old is able to sing along! This is such a fantastic way to expose our children to different styles of music. It seems like so much children's music gets annoying within the first five seconds with the cartoony voices that are insults to our kids' intelligence- this CD is cool and fun and great to listen to even without kids in the car!Free Music Review: It actually IS music for the whole family.

I've heard the Backyardigans music much more than I've seen the episodes with my kids. One thing for sure is that the music is varied, appealing, and well done. I'm glad The Backyardigans have introduced my kids to such a wide-variety of musical genres and made them enjoyable for them. Another wonderful Backyardigans product. The music is great. My two year old daughter gets up and dances everytime I put it on. Unlike many other kids CD's, I can actually enjoy this one too! Janice Burgess has created a wonderful show that is not only entertaining but also exposes children to a wonderful range of music. I only wish more of the songs from the show were available on CD.Free Music Review: I caught myself singing along....

We initially checked out this cd from our local library. I questioned the title of some of the songs, didn't think they would be a good influence. After I realized I knew the lyrics to at least 3 of the songs and my girls behaviors were not negatively impacted - I bought the cd and we continue to love it. The CD has catchy lyrics and melodies, a little bit like showtunes I think.Free Music Review: Great quality, fun tunes!

For any kid who loves the Backyardigans, this is a great CD for driving in the car. It really keeps my preschooler happy in the backseat. He knows all the words, and it's fun for me to hear him sing! This CD would also be appropriate for a kid who doesn't even watch the tv show, as all the songs can stand on their own, and they are not too annoying for adults. I recommend this!
