We enjoy watching the backyardigans. It is about these little creature/animals that have vivid imaginataions. They go on trips and explore new worlds and travel time. They are creative and fun to watch. One thing that makes them so enjoyable for adults and children is the music. The songs are adorable and easy to understand and by their upbeat sounds encourage moving around.
This music is no different. We haven't noticed a difference of them being sung by different kids than the original show as one reviewer mentioned. These songs come right from the shows.
They are adorable. The sons are adorable. The words are easy to understand and sing along with and the upbeat tempo encourages dancing too.

I love this CD! I know all the words by heart and I am 30 years old! My Husband and I listen to it in the car with my 9 month old, but truthfully, I listen to it when she isn't in the car too! The Backyardigans is the most fabulous show and I talk about it all the time at My Gym during playgroup to all the other Moms. My Baby, Nat Rose, loves it and smiles when it comes on and kicks her feet. She knows all the songs. My Husband and I thought kids music would be corny, but the songs are fun and clean for kids. If you love the show, trust me, buy the CD! It is cheapest on Amazon and hard to find on stores (and when you do, it is almost $19!). I give it 5 + stars! Suzy CGFree Music Review: The wait is over!

Strongly reccommended!!! My wife and I discovered the Backyardigans by accident. Our infant daughter was being very fussy one day and when we came across the backyardigans she immediatly stopped and started swaying side to side to the music of the wonderful kid (and parent) friendly songs. We have been waiting for the release of this CD since it became available for pre-order. The CD is a wonderful collection of music from the TV series. We feel that our daughter's love of music is a direct result of these great songs, which unlike those of a certain purple dinosaur who shall remain nameless, are actually enjoyable for parents too! I bought this CD for my three year old daughter to listen to in the car because she loves to sing and dance along with the Backyardigans on TV. I was pleased to see all of the songs that she "knew" from TV were on the CD and my six year old son enjoys listening to it as well. It's a great kid's CD to own and a definite must if you have a little Backyardigan fan because he or she will know every song. We listen to it every time we are in the car together (and even sometimes when I am driving alone!)It keeps her occupied as she sings along to all the favorites. Two thumbs up! I have no negative reviews of this product at all. It is great!Free Music Review: Can I give it more than 5 stars?

I bought this item for my 4 y.o. son, soon after he discovered the show on Nick Jr. Now, it is the only CD allowed to play in my car!! He goes around the house singing the songs, I think he is convinced he is Pablo the penguin, but the thing that is great is that my husband and I also really enjoy the music on this CD. So many of the kid's CDs are so repetitive (and quite frankyly annoying after a while) but, in spite of hearing these songs EVERYDAY, I still enjoy them and even find myself singing them when my son isn't around. I can't give this CD a higher recommendation, whether your child watches the show or not...get this CD.
