this is a great cd for both mom & baby (or dad & baby). We dance to it, sing to it & listen to it in the car. She's only 15 mos. old so she's not old enough to appreciate the lyrics quite yet. Still, I pull out puppets in desperate times and have them sing & act out the songs when we're in the car on long road trips and nothing seems to work. You know, I just don't get sick of this cd. This CD is sung by the original kids, just some of the songs do not have the speaking parts as it appears on the show. My kids (3 and 11) love the variety of music styles and we are always dancing in the car when it's on. I have had the CD for at least 3 months and it is the only thing we listen to in the car and you can always se us clapping along with the "questing" song. I happened upon the Backyardigans completely by accident. All it took was Austin singing the Mystery Lifeguard song and I was instantly hooked.
I am so glad to see that there are videos and other themed items for sale. My 1 year old doesn't pay any attention to t.v. until he hears the Theme Song and then he drops everything and races to watch... over and over again!

My daughter loves to watch the Backyardigans on Treehouse and I do as well. I find the songs very catchy and the characters are way too cute. We listen to this CD in the vehicle and I am singing just as much as she is and find that the songs are caught in my head for quite a while! Defintely a great buy along with the other Backyardigans CD's...of which I bought all three!!!Free Music Review: Daughters love to dance along

This CD was a gift for my 2-year-old's birthday. She and my 4-year-old daughter have only seen 4 or 5 episodes of The Backyardigans but they love the opening music. This CD has that opening tune, which is such a hit with all of us, and they've come to enjoy the rest of the CD. My older daughter particularly likes the Queen Tasha song and plays along that she is Queen Tasha.
