Bad Company's greatest hits complation 10 from 6, covers their career up to 1982. Their are 10 songs from 5 of the six albums they had out at the time. Besides being a skimpy hits collection, it doesn't really have their very best stuff. Runnin with the Pack please! To have Bad Company's best buy Bad Company, Straight Shooter, and 10 From 6(this one only because it has some of the highlights from the weaker albums that followed the first two).Free Music Review: Very brief. 3 1/2 stars.

"10 From 6" means ten songs from the original Bad Company lineup's six different studio albums (actually the ten songs on this compilation were culled from only five of them - "Burnin' Sky" isn't represented).
And that's where the problem lies. If "10 From 6" should have truly included Bad Company's ten best songs, it would have had to skip three of the group's six albums instead of just one, and draw nine of its ten songs from the first two.
But what's here is good, sure it is. The slow, swaggering blues-rocker "Feel Like Makin' Love" is here, as well as "Can't Get Enough", "Rock & Roll Fantasy", "Movin' On" and the ballad "Shooting Star". It's just a little thin, that's all.
Bad Company's first two albums, which contained 9/10 of their best material, would be much better purchase, as would "The Original Bad Co. Anthology", which also includes some rarities and four new songs.

I was first introduced to Bad Company when I watched "Scotland, PA," which is a modern-day twist on Macbeth that features quite a few Bad Company songs in the soundtrack. We bought 10 from 6 after seeing the movie and it quickly joined the handful of CD's that I've basically stolen from my father. 'Bad Company,' 'Can't Get Enough,' 'Shooting Star,' and 'Rock and Roll Fantasy,' are some of my favorites on here. I personally think that 'Rock Steady' should have been included as well. It's a little short, but it's a great CD for a loyal Bad Company fan, or someone who's just heard a few of their songs and wants to hear more of their music.Free Music Review: "Bad" to the bone.

Basically, this is a great collection for any fan of the band, or of classic rock in general. Though it's short (it did come out in the vinyl era), seven of these ten tracks are known to anyone who has listened to radio in the past 20 years. Track after track is solid 70's rock. "Shooting Star", "Rock 'N' Roll Fantasy", and "Bad Company" are all on here. Plus the huge hit "Feel Like Makin' Love", which was recently covered by "Kid Rock". If you dig artists like "Bob Seger" and "Foreigner", you'll like "10 From 6".Free Music Review: Another GREAT CD

This is some good classic rocK! If you were born 25 or more years ago, then you already know this, man. If you don't know who this group is, and you like classic rock, then guess what?YOU WILL LOVE THIS CD!!!
