This is a great CD. If you enjoy blues-based rock music then you will enjoy this CD. Ray Gillen was blessed with a great voice and he puts it to good use here. Jake E. Lee's guitar work is also top notch, I especially love his rhythm work. This is some great blues-based rock, what else is there to say?

This is one of the most influential albums ever! I have read other reviews and have to say that this band is NOT British and will never reunite even though numerous albums have been released. The vocals were the high point of the band but unfortunately Ray Gillen died in 1993 or 1994 and he could never be easily replaced!Free Music Review: Raunch & Roll at its finest!

Love the self titled debut " Badlands". I wore the cassette tape out that I had from 1989 long ago...I finally got around to getting it on disc thanx to those who still have copies for sale.
