I HAVE NEVER LISTENED ONE SONG MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN "LA CITTA SOTILE" AND I HAVE NEVER FOUND SOMETHING MORE PROGRESSIVE THAN "CANZIONE PER UN PRIGIONERO POLITICO". This is probably the best integrated of all their albums. Musically peerless, lyrical yet emotionally intense, it all hangs together in a way that makes you beg for more. I bought the LP in 1974, and became an instant fan. I have never listened to anyone equal to Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, very possibly the best band of all time.Free Music Review: dual keys!

If you only get one Banco album get this one. It's not as silly as Darwin and it's a little harder and has a great sci-fi feel to it due to the more liberal use of 70's synths. The singer's voice is a bit theatrical for me, but hey it's Italian. I was disappointed when I saw them live a couple of years ago...they did not play much material from this album because they only had one of the keyboard brothers. This is also one of their more technically advanced efforts.Free Music Review: Italian sytle rock.

I like PFM so I thought I should listern to other Italian music this is very different to PFM I do like it it has more classical influence than rock. It is well recoded and does sound good on a good hi fi system.
