Free Music Review: Similar, but better than My Morning Jacket

there is an obvious similarity between My Morning Jacket's "Z" album and The Band of Horses debut. The albums are similar in so many respects.
However, I find that in terms of overall quality, the Band of Horses is a much better. The four key tracks "Funeral", "Salt Lake", "Monsters", and "weed party" are head and shoulders above ALL the songs on the "Z" album.
anyway, comparison aside, I think the Band of Horses is a great album, one of the best I've heard in a couple of years, its got enough hooks, it has enough artistry, and its brief.
This is a great purchase.
