Free Music Review: Catchy non-annoying kids tunes

This is yet another fantastic BNL album. We purchased it shortly after the birth of our first child. Not knowing the best ways to calm him, we tried music. This album, with all of its catchy kids tunes, calms him down very quickly. Because it is in the traditional BNL style(think Gordon), my wife and I are able to enjoy the music. I would highly recommend this album for any BNL fan whether they have kids or not, but it should be a hit with the kids.Free Music Review: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!

Over the past 19 months I have become a connoisseur of childrens music. (Since the birth of twins) This CD by far is our favorite. The musical arrangements are sophiticated enough for adult enjoyment and fun for the kids. I find myself humming these tunes all day. If fact this is the first BNL CD I have ever purchased, it makes me want to check out their other stuff. LOVE THIS CD!!! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! I bought Snack Time by Barenaked Ladies to take on a road trip and we all enjoyed it immensely. My husband and I are longtime fans of the band, so it was a treat to see they've made a children's album. Their song on the first "For the Kids" CD is excellent. It's got a great mix of original songs that both the kids and adults enjoy. My five year old's big winner is Track 3, "Polywog in a Bog." Two big thumbs up. My sons (3 & 1) love this CD. My oldest is learning the lyrics and often requests the songs by title. It is enjoyable to listen to especially since it is not that super high pitched want to cut your throat kiddie music. The puns and twists on terms are hilarious and I never complain when my son asks for a song on this album. My husband got a kick out of this CD too. I highly recommend it, everyone can learn somehting new from this fun group!Free Music Review: Great for kids and parents

I really love this album; sometimes I listen to it in the car even while my daughter isn't there! My daughter isn't even 2 years old yet, and she already tries to sing along with some of the songs. She loves the Pollywog in a Bog song, and sings "jump jump" at the appropriate part. And the Popcorn song is also fun to "pop" along with. It feels like a regular Bare Naked Ladies album, therefore easy for adults to enjoy, too.
