Clear Horizon
This song is really beautiful; beautiful lyrics, beautiful music, and beautiful voice. It is started with the contrastive words, summer and winter (Look around it's almost summer, yet, there's winter in her heart...). I think it is a great approach in conveying the idea in it. However, in my opinion, there is one weakness in this song, which is the using of programmed musical instruments, which - I think - make the song less realistic. Anyway, it's a beautiful song, especially in curing the desperated person.

Waters of March
Singing poem, or another way to read a poem by sing it? I don't know. Anyway, this Antonio Carlos Jobim's song is great. When you listen to this, just imagine a country side with a river, green grass, trees, clear sky, fresh air, soft morning light, toing-froing butterflies, singing birds, and, of course, singing Basia walking on the grass at the riverbank!

Go For You
Nice ballad song. In this song you can hear the contrast of Basia's voice. At the beginning, the voice is so strong and bold, then, suddenly change into the soft one, repeatedly.

From Now On (Live)
This version is even better than the original version and the band version. You can compare her voice. The first two have a shallow and light voice but the live version really shows the true Basia with her magnificent voice.

Half a Minute (Live)
A nice and energetic song combined with a great music and the sound of the crowd. A great live performance. Many people said that her live performances are often better than her recording performances, unlike other singers who usually have better recording performances than the live one.

Well, I'm still waiting for her latest album. I don't care if it takes a long time because it's worth waiting for. One thing that I know is that, she is still working on her new album. If she takes more than 4 years to release the new one, maybe she wants to prepare it well, to give the best she can do. Besides, she must be busy to be a good mother, cook, gardener, and housekeeper. Well, I don't know much, but I know I love her voice, songs,..etc..

I bought this album for my best friend's wedding on October 5, 2002. I think Clear Horizon is the perfect gift for her because she loves music and talented singers but knows (maybe) very little about Basia. So, I introduced Basia to her and hope she'll like it.
