Um, Kelly Bone...what do you mean "Basquiat himself was a selector of the music"? He's dead and has been since the mid-1980s. His friend and contemporary Julian Schnabel made the film, but unless some sort of channeling is involved, I think Basquiat remains dead.Free Music Review: Basquiat is alive.

Actually, Basquiat played himself in the film. And chose the music for the soundtrack. In an interesting side-note, Amadeus chose all the music for the film bearing his name, and was the executive producer.Free Music Review: Help please
