Free Music Notes for Batman Begins [Original Motion Picture Soundtrack]Free Music Review: Powerful and Haunting at times Hit: 5 Stars
Off the bat (no pun intended), you know the music will be more epic than Danny Elfman's theme. In my opinion, if you have Hans Zimmer as the composer for the movie's musical score, then its in good hands. Consider that he has done Gladiator, The Last Samurai, and King Arthur, his music brings the movies to life even more. I'm not too familiar with James Newton Howard's work. Each song carries its own story that correlates to the film. The songs help express the emotions conveyed whether it'd be fear, loss, strength, love, the score brings it to life even more. This is absolutely gorgeous movie score that is definitly worth picking up.
Free Music Review: Just as good... Hit: 5 Stars
I bought the CD right after I saw the film and the only time I do that is if the movie and the soundtrack are on the same level. I don't care about the bad reviews. A lot of people liked the movie and so did I. Even more amazing is that the score is just as good as the film, like James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer watched it first without any music and then writing the music based on how the characters felt during a specific sequence. The result is a dark, brooding, air-tight score that doesn't only sound great in the movie theatres but also inside your car if you are one to listen to neo-classical-oriented musical juggernauts.

I couldn't possibly hope to write a review as eloquent as most of the others. I gather that I'm not the typical listener of music of this genre.
There's really not much I can say about this soundtrack. Its artistry is beyond what words can describe, but how "beautiful" and "magnificant" will suffice.
I've been a fan of Hans Zimmer since I bought the Gladiator soundtrack, on a whim. The pure enjoyment I've gotten out of the countless times I've listened to this CD, since I firt bought it, makes it probably my favorite of all of the CD's I own.
Free Music Review: Powerful Hit: 5 Stars
The reinvention of the Batman franchise did much to erase the farces that were Batman Forever and Batman & Robin from the mind. The film did a great job of making Batman into a real person instead of some stale comic book hero with silly neon colors...
Anyway, the musical score is wonderful. Gone is the campy comic book themes from the previous films and instead we have beautiful and stirring music.
Hans Zimmer is one of those composers who always does a good job. Batman Begins is one of his best.
Free Music Review: Different; In A Good Way Hit: 5 Stars
I undoudbtedly enjoy this movie, and the music only added so much to it in my opinion.
Not having a realtive theme or certain structure, this score is mostly atmospheric and moody; just what the movie needed. It was dark, gritty, uplifting, and overall a very moving score.
It's not really possible to compare the score for 'Begins' to the other movies' scores; it is entirely different, but, since I'm really more for the emotional and atmospheric music, I preferred this one more.
