Nice balance of action cue music and lighter mood/motifs exploring the emotional/psychological side of the Dark Knights origins. I'm still a huge fan of Tim Burton's Batman but still thoroughly enjoyed Chris Nolan's new vision. One of the few scores this year I've enjoyed repeated listening too as I find film music of late (as with recent Hollywood movies) uninspired.Free Music Review: Awsome score

When I went to see Batman Begins I didn't think about the score. I didn't hear much of the score. I loved the movie so much that I bought the this CD. I discovered why I really didn't hear it in the movie. These two men crafted the perfect blend of film and music. They weaved a tapestry of pain,misery love and hope. This music is Hans Zimmer at his best. The soundtrack is dark and mysterious but at the same time it is beautiful and full of hope. Other reviewers on this product have complained that it does not have the old batman theme. If you ask me, that song is a piece of trash written for a second rate TV show. Deserves a Academy award. A Huge change form the typical soundtrack. Use of a 2 note theme, drums acting as wings and much more. this score is the most respectful score to the movie I have ever heard. Batman Begins not enjoyable on cd if you dont understand it. Definelty the best score I heard for a comic book movie.
