This is, simply put, the best music I have heard in the past 3 years. I get as much joy from listening to the music that Mr. McCreary composes as I do from the show itself. I cannot imagine anyone being disappointed by buying this Soundtrack. I hope there is a special feature on the DVD about the composing and scoring of this soundtrack, I feel that Mr McCreary has not been given due attention for his masterfully work.Free Music Review: Getting Better and Better

Wonderful Soundtrack. Much more emotionally intensive than the previous three seasons. It's a credit to the composer's growth over the past three seasons and the continuing emotionalism of the show that requires such a depth of well writen and orchestrated music. Once again Bear Mcreary shines!! I thought nothing could come close to season 2'cd but I was wrong. Although this cd does not have standout tracks like "something dark is coming", "worthy of survival", or "prepare for battle." Tracks like "Battlestar sonatica", "Violence and variations", and "Gentle execution", stand on there own. This is a must have cd for any fan of the show. I just finished watching Battlestar Galactica on Netflix. That was brilliant TV !!! I will turn around and watch it again. I became obsessed with "All Along the Watchtower" as I am sure you did. I had to have it, so I bought the soundtrack. I was thrilled to realize this cd is filled with music I love. The percussion alone is inspiring. I didn't think it was possible, but after listening to this album, I love Battlestar Galactica even more. You can sense how great the music is while watching the show, but when you isolate the soundtrack, you can see just how frakking amazing it is. I too would have like more music from Crossroads Part II, but his is still close to a perfect album. Eleven thumbs up!
