Free Music Notes for Battlestar Galactica: Season TwoFree Music Review: Continued Excellence Hit: 5 StarsAs with the other albums, this one does not disappoint. The music continues to be great, with it's heavy drum beats, but also with it's slower, more emotional songs as well.
Free Music Review: Great Music! Hit: 5 StarsI bought both first and second season, and though I love them both I have to say the second is much better! I love the drums and the haunting melodies. Roslin and Adama is probably my favorite on the disc, but the Colonial Anthem is a great revisit to the original series theme.
Free Music Review: Incredible. Hit: 5 StarsUsually when I hear soundtracks, there's just 3 maybe 4 songs on the disc that I care about. Here we have a CD where almost every song is memorable.
A few of my favourites include:
-Lords of Kobol
-Prelude to War
-Something Dark is Coming
And it also includes a track that is simply beautiful, and it's actually one of the best songs I've ever heard: Roslin and Adama. This CD exudes emotion form beginning to end.
I can't wait for the season 3 soundtrack.
Free Music Review: Better than the first Hit: 5 StarsThe music is more enveloping and full of emotion.
There is a mournful undercurrent to much of the cd but yet there is still hope especially in songs like Pegasus.
With the exception of Reuniting the Fleet, for personal reasons, i think every song on this album is fantastic.
Most choice cuts are, in no order: Something Dark is Coming, Scar, Pegasus, Prelude to War, One Year Later, Lords of Kobol amd Black Market.
Free Music Review: Frakin' brilliant! Hit: 4 StarsI usually buy only soundtracks from movies, but this one is so well composed that it can be considered a score from one big epic film. Simply amazing!
