Free Music Notes for Hello NastyFree Music Review: Ol' Skool in the 1990s - Fantastic Hit: 5 Stars
While filping through other reviews of "Hello Nasty," I became alarmed that some people thought this album anything less than brillant. Reviewers waiting for the next "Licensed to Ill" better stop buying B Boys' cds because that album ain't ever going to happen. I've had this since the day it came out and it sounds like no other creation - and that makes it a classic. It' not just orignal, it's also one of the most mind-blowing cds to come out in a long time. Think of it as The Clash meets Run DMC. If you don't want to move your butt to songs like "Body Movin'" and "Unite," give this cd to someone who can appricate it and go buy some Third Eye Blind or Matchbox 20.
Free Music Review: Beastie Boys' new album rocks! Hit: 5 Stars
The new Beastie Boys album, Hello Nasty, is certainly living up to the standard set by other albums like Ill Communication and Check your Head. It has very impressive songs like Intergalactic, Remote Control, Unite and others, but it also has more cool songs that aren't as heavily rapped as others, and they even use Latin-American and Brazilian music in some of the tracks! I started listening to the BBoys when I saw the video of "Sabotage" (from Ill Communication) on MTV, and I've started liking them more and more! As soon as I saw the video for Intergalactic on MTV here in Argentina I rushed out and bought the album, and it rocks, from the lead song "Super Disco Breakin'" to the very end!
Free Music Review: my favorite of the beastie boys collection Hit: 5 Stars
I'm a relatively " late" beastie fan, because I only really started listening to them when this CD first came out. I decided to check it out because some of my friends were recommending them and Intergalactic had sounded pretty nice on the radio.
I was pleasantly rewarded when I indeed bought this album. Unlike some albums, it has A LOT of solid songs, and are all well-balanced. These guys can flow.
I then checked out their previous albums, which arent bad, but I still say this one is their best. (song-wise though, nothing tops Fight for your right and Sabatoge!!!).. But for total number of good songs on one CD, this one is up there.
Highly recommended.
Free Music Review: Hello Nasty, The Best ! Hit: 5 Stars
I think it's really the best album of the Beastie Boys. The first time i heard it, i didn't like it very much. But i heard it again and i start to listen the sounds and the music. This album contains very much sounds that you should listen with a headphone. It's an experimental album and it's why i think it's the best album. Beastie boys have really a new "sound". Beastie Boys have also chosen news kind of music (see track 14-15 or 22 who is one of the best track). The new D.J's Mix Master Mike is really very good but his talent doesn't appear in this album. You should buy his album (Anti-Theft Device), Mix Master Mike is one of the best D.J of the world
Free Music Review: Bboys be rockin on and on..... Hit: 5 Stars
I really have to say that I think that this Beastie Boys album is one of their best! I have to admit that I have only become a real beastie boys fan in the last year. Out of all the Beastie Boys cd's I have, I would say that I like this one the best. I think that this album really gives a good example of what the Beastie Boys really stand for in the music world. Some of the stuff on this album was new and exciting which made the whole thing a little more interesting to listen to! I really have to say that this is the type of cd that you don't just play one song...... you play the entire album. Why I'd say this album was Absolutly Fabulous!
