Free Music Review: Snow white is the greatest one-this one is the best

Entertaintainment Wekkyly put this soundtrack on there 100 greats list. Entertainment Weekly's Ty Burr put it on his 100 greatest movies list,and gave it an A+(The only annimeated movie which he gave that to, so he thought it was the best animated movie ever made) and internet Critic, James Berardinelli called it the finest animated movie ever made and said it deserved a prominent position on any list of the all time greats. The AMG said it was one of the all time great movie soundtracks. Beauty and the beast is the only film is the only animated film ever nominater for best picture. Is there ANYTHING this film hasnt done. Its also won. 8 awards for its music: 2 Oscars, 1 Golden GLobe, and 5 Grammys. A Masterpiecs. Snow white may be the greatest animated movie ever made, but this one is the best. And as i proved up above, some critics feel it is the best animated movie ever made. The soundtrack and the movie are two of the greatest of there types of art( 100 greatest soundtracks/movies). I look forward to this dvd to feel the MUSIC( the most important element to this film with the exception of the animation itself)in its full power. An AMAZING Film. I beg to differ with the writer who gave the play the lukewarm review. I saw the play in Boston only a few weeks ago and fell totally in love with it. It was so mezmerizing!!! I bought the Broadway soundtrack at intermission and have just about worn it out. The peices that were not in the movie but in the play are some of it's best music...for example "Human Again". It just stirs the soul and "Home"...brings tears to my eyes everytime. The play has since left Boston as it was at the end of its run but it is now in Hartford and I am going to see if I can get tickets there just to hear that beautiful score sung again, with, I hope, the same wonderful cast.Rosemary Carter-Molnar Litchfield, NH 03052 Rocee5@worldnet.att.net

This is a wonderful album. With all the fun lyrics, and lovely instrumentals. Whenever I hear the song "Beauty and the Beast" sung by Angela Lansbury, it makes me feel great.The songs that are the most fun are "Be our Guest" and "Something There". The loveliest instrumental is "Transformation" and the most lively is "Battle on the tower". The only thing I don't like about this album is the pop version of "Beauty and the Beast" by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson. It's really sappy (too many ooooo's and aaaaaa's). Buy this album and listen to all the songs except that one.

We all have heard the songs in "Beauty and the Beast" and not one of them is bad. They are all great. As a matter of fact, they are all flawless. The musical themes also resonate in the score, which is composed by Menken in his best work ever. The special edition contains a few extra tracks, and definitely buy it if you can, but even the cheaper version is great too and contains all of the original album. Even if you are someone who (like me) dislikes sappy Disney songs, you will still probably like Beauty and the Beast, for there are none of them in it. WOW. Alan Menkin is at his finest in this soundtrack. I could listen to this soundtrack for ages. The movie and the music are perfect together... take one away the entire structure falls. I especially loved Beauty and the Beast (the one when Mrs. Potts is singing), Transformation, and Be Our Guest. This soundtrack is Disney's gold momment...however Disney's musical Renaissance started to decline after Beauty and the Beast. This soundtrack is the best of the best. When you listen to this music, you will be transported into the world of Beauty and the Beast.
