The thing that I like most about Beck is the fact that with every new album, I am always surprised. I like the fact that every album has a completely different mood then the one before. From the funky Midnight Vultures to the calm Modern Guilt, Beck has failed to disappoint me. There is not one single album by Beck that I don't love with all of my heart.

loved the last album the information. this one even more. its a little short but accomplishes some of the same trippiness that theinformation had (specially the last few tracks) with a more raw sound. Beck is doing more than just staying current. He's pushing boundaries constantly, while making really enjoyable music that doesn't sound experimental.Free Music Review: Bravo!

At a time when I am more into the creativeness of electronic music - such as Puscifer and Nine Inch Nails - more than anything else, Modern Guilt is one album I am happy to have added to my playlist. Beck at his best. Pop music for the educated ear. Each song comes at you like a ton of bricks and leave you wanting more when they're done. Dangermouse should be commended for songs like "chemtrails" and "replica", but there really isn't a bad song in the lot. I'm a huge Beck fan and have all of his albums. As usual, Beck has gone in a different direction with Modern Guilt and it's a good one! I'd almost go as far as to say this is his best album to date. My favorite song being Black Tambourine with it's fast beat and catchy lyrics, it's a great song. Buy this album! ;)
