Free Music Notes for Saturday Night Fever: The Original Movie Sound TrackFree Music Review: Saturday Night Fever: The Original Movie Sound Track Hit: 5 Stars
This has to be the best soundtrack ever with some amazing tracks from the masters of disco, Bee Gees. Staying alive, how deep is your love, jive talking and many other tracks make this an unforgetable album. This kind of music is amazing to dance to and trance and techno has been deeply influenced by the discos dance friendly attitude and happy approach to life and living. Bee Gees are amazing muisicans, vocalist and lyricists and it is wrong to asume that disco means meaningless and trite lyrics. This is a master piece.
Free Music Review: Seven #1 Hits! Hit: 5 Stars
"SNF" sold over 35 million copies world-wide. It also garnered seven #1 hits in the USA alone. The Bee Gees also won several Grammys from this for production and vocal arrangement. A unique mix of disco, funk and orchestration, this album (now one CD) defined a generation and a lasting style of music (albeit with repercussions). If you are still stalling on buying this, consider that it has been remixed and if you ever want to listen to dance songs that actually contain interesting lyrics; this is the one.
Free Music Review: I bought this disc even though I used to hate disco. Hit: 5 Stars
It's true, I was a rock'n roll, skinny, big hair, Black Sabbath concert t-shirt-wearin lad, back in '77. But I had a lot of great times while grimmacing when the Bee-Gees came on the radio, making out while listening to "More than a Woman", forcing myself out on the dance floor to "Disco Inferno" to keep up with the ladies, and trying to control myself at parties thinking "Stayin Alive". So I bought the disc and had shivers from all the great memories I had.... How bout you?
Free Music Review: A guilty pleasure Hit: 5 Stars
I'm ashamed to admit I like this album, because it's quintessential disco. But there are some really great songs here, and great production values. I don't care how old you are, everybody gets up to dance to "Disco Inferno." And who can resist "Boogie Shoes" or "Staying Alive"? You should have this album. When you pull it out to play it your friends may tease you, but it won't be long before they're saying, "What a great song!"
Free Music Review: Admit it...you like Disco Hit: 5 Stars
If you're actually reading reviews of Saturday Night Fever, then lets face it...You like disco. Disco is funky, it makes one want to get down and shake the ol' booty. The best part is, unlike today's dance music, not all the songs have the exact same beat. So buy the CD, before you spend the money on some cheesy trendy CD that you'll hate in 5 years. This piece of audio magic should be a staple in every human's CD collection.
