Free Music Notes for Staying Alive

Free Music Review: At Long Last
Hit: 5 Stars

I watched this film for the first time in the early 80s. I still can remember all the songs and music performed by BeeGees and other artists featured in the film. I don't know why I did not buy the album back then. Curiously, the soundtrack seemed to disappear from the surface of the world ever since. I looked everywhere in Taiwan, and then in England when I worked there. But I did not find it in all the shops I visited. At long last, eureka! it's right here on the Amazon site. I am so happy to be able to order this soundtrack from Amazon. And I am looking forward to receiving it and enjoying the songs that have made this film so memorable. I can hardly wait for the beautiful and romantic scenes to come up in my mind when I play the CD and listen to the lovely songs again, following Laura and Tony's footsteps in the Central Park, in the musical "Satan's Alley".....P.S. This soundtrick is a must for all BeeGees fans, for I don't think you will find the 5 BeeGees songs featured in this soundtrack in other BeeGees albums.

Free Music Review: Excellent soundtrack!!
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a great movie and a fantastic soundtrack. There is a really good mix of slow and fast songs. There are several Bee Gees songs that really get me ready to work out, but one of my favorites is a slow song called "Finding Out the Hard Way" which is sung by Cynthia Rhodes (wife of Richard Marx). She has a beautiful voice as does Frank Stallone (yes, Sylvester's brother) who sings a really great song called "Moody Girl". Whether you like the movie or not, I think that you will like this cd if for no other reason than the grooving Bee Gees songs. This is a really great cd.

Free Music Review: Liked the Movie? LOVE THE SOUNDTRACK!
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD is very enjoyable. But see the movie first, even if you don't like sequals (this one didn't get rave reviews). You'll better appreciate the energy and emotion behind the tracks, i.e., Finding out the Hard Way, once you've stepped into the characters' lives in the film. One thing is certain, you'll enjoy hearing the title track again after over two decades since the original was released. Frank Stallone's singing debut is decent as well. And WOW Cynthia Rhoades! Your voice is incredible. Too bad you haven't done more singing since then.

Free Music Review: Staying Alive Soundtrack Blows Me Away!
Hit: 5 Stars

Too good to describe with words. So much energy, so much power. The Bee Gees songs here are just as good or better than the ones on Saturday Night Fever. This album is a must have for all Bee Gees fans. As for the rest of the album, it's great in its own way. All of the songs are either great dance songs or great slow songs. This is a well-rounded album. It is definitely one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever made. I could never listen to this CD enough or get tired of it.

Free Music Review: One great album.
Hit: 5 Stars

This is an excellent album. The songs by the Bee Gees on this album rank with some of their best work, in my opinion. But my favorites are the songs by Frank Stallone and the others. The last song of the album is a must-listen. It is a song by Frank Stallone and Cynthia Rhodes. It is perhaps the best song on the album (Next to my favorite, Far From Over). I would definitely recommend this.
