Pity those folks who only think of disco when they think of the Bee Gees. Thankfully this cd set reminds listeners of many of the well crafted songs the Brothers Gibb have written & recorded. Listen to the later 1990s tracks on disc two and then go out and purchase the cds "Size Doesn't Matter", "Still Waters" and their last "This is Where I Came In." It will give you a better appreciation for their songwriting and performing gifts. This collection, however, is probably their best anthology and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves good pop music.Free Music Review: Exellent replacement

During an RV vacation last summer, our RV broke down, and was in a shop for 31 days, causing us to miss our entire vacation. After picking up our repaired unit, we discovered all our favorite CD's which were kept in a case had disapired. We had collected these through the years, and thought we would never find them again. What a wonderful surprise to find Bee Gees Their Greatest Hits The Record in excellent condition and brand new. I cannot imagine my life as teenager in the 70s, without a reference to the Bee Gees music. These guys are great composers and surely, one of the best vocal groups of that era!
This collection has (almost) all of their greatest hits... The most romantic and even the "Disco" ones (how can you mend your broken heart, without dancing 'Stayin' Alive' once again? Come on...!!!)
I suggest you to get this one, unless you're so lucky to get that wonderful 4-CD box collection issued some years ago...

Lets keep this really simple. If you want the hits this is the collection for you. With the exception of their own interpretation of songs they wrote, that were hits for others, every song is simply wonderful. One reviewer said the sound quality was bad, they must have gotten a bootleg or something...mine sounds spectacular. This is a fantastic span of all their hits,great melodies, harmonies and vocals, great writing/lyrics from one of the most under rated groups of all time.Free Music Review: Incredible!

This is the first Bee Gees CD I bought. I didn't realize how much I love the brothers until I heard the CD. If you're looking for a complete compilation of great music produced by the Bee Gees, this is probably it. There is one song missing that I wish was here, but it never went to #1 -- "Morning of My Life". That song showcases their raw talent at 3-part harmony like no other.
If you're thinking about buying this, don't think any more. Buy it.
