My Children loved this CD. Fun entertaining music that made everyone laugh, it is a gentle introduction to the love of classical music. Some of the songs name the composer which allows the children to recognize the music and composer when they hear it elsewhere. Think Walt Disney's Silly Symphonies mixed with the Animaniacs Shorts (warner brothers). I'm 19 now, and even I can remember a day when cartoons used classical music for the scores of their show, or better yet, they used their cartoons to introduce kids to classical music. It's fun, it gets the tunes in their head, makes them understand and appreciate why people still like the music today. Beethoven's Wig is a wonderful way for children to learn and enjoy classical music. My young grandchildren (ages 4 and 8)ask for it every day and they love to sing along. The writers deserve awards for the clever way their lyrics teach musical history. And, the actual musical pieces at the end provide a true classical music experience. I had to buy all 3 cds and share them with my children until they buy their own copies. I want more!
