This man is one of the best piano players I have ever heard. This CD reminds me of what it is like to see him in person. As he gets older and (happier) the lyrics in his songs have changed from angry to wiser, and more beautiful. If you have never bought a ben folds CD, this would make a great start. Loved the cover of "Tiny Dancer" and wow you will get a good laugh out of song 14---shows just how witty and clever Ben Folds is.

I LOVE this CD. That really says it all. I am now listening to it for the first time. That's right, I have not even finished the CD once and felt compelled to give it an excellent rating already. I am usually not a fan of live cd's, but Ben does a great job. The piano sounds great, Ben is having a good time and the crowd supplies just the right amount of energy without being overbearing. Mozart. Beethoven. Folds. That's where I rank Ben Folds in the lexicon of music. The man is a genius, plain and simple. His music is funny, thought-provoking, and emotionally strong, sometimes in the same song. This disc really shows Ben Folds at his greatest, behind a piano. It doesn't matter if it's just him and a piano or if he's with Darren and Robert as "the Five."The man is brilliant. Period.

I just got this a week ago and hasn't left my CD player since! I can't believe it took me this long to discover such an amazing artist. I had the opportunity to see Ben perfom live this past summer while opening for Tori Amos and although I was there for the main act, I enjoyed Ben more! If you saw Ben during the Lottapianos Tour and want to relive the experience, get this CD, it's as close as you'll get to it!
