Free Music Notes for Ben Folds LiveFree Music Review: It doesn't get any better than this Hit: 5 Stars
From the perspective of a Ben Folds fan, this is a wonderful album highlighting the personality, excitement, and humor of a Ben Folds show. For newbies, well this would be a great introduction to the world of Ben Folds. This live CD highlights songs from the "Ben Folds and a piano" tour, so (for those of you unfamiliar with Mr. Folds)if you're expecting to hear a full band, nope...just him and a piano. Trust me, it's much better that way. I've seen him live with a backup band, and they don't click like the Five did. Enough nostalgia. This is a very honest album without Pro Tools editing out all the personality. The perfect mixture of classics, new songs, and a cover make Ben's second solo work very listenable and entertaining.Shout out to benfolds.org!

Free Music Review: Stunned with Chills... Hit: 5 Stars
When i first popped in the cd, I got chills running down my back, just because it reminds me of when i first got each of ben's other albums. It took me back to that magical experience that you felt when you first heard his heartfelt ballads, his quirky ganders on life and his joyful sense of melody. This Generations piano-man has compiled his best material (five and solo), and even one of last generations piano-mans songs..tiny dancer by elton john. My favorites include one down, fred jones prt. 2, best imitation of myself and the luckiest. Too many to really mention, in fact, all hold a special spot on this album. Definately buy this album, if not for a collection of his greatest, then for the stripped down versions of the songs and the audience participation.
