Ben crafts more than an album of individual songs with "Fight For Your Mind", he creates a cohesive collection of lyrically-dynamic, powerful musical pieces. Those who say they are Ben Harper fans after listen to such tracks as "Steal Your Kisses" and "Faded", fortunately don't know what they are missing. It is his earlier work including Welcome To The Cruel Worl and Fight For Your Mind, where Ben is truly in a class of his own. Fight For Your Mind is a flawless album, an album you can leave constantly playing and not get sick of. If the big booming sounds of rap and hard rock are not for you check out this fairly new album from Ben Harper. He plays a variety of music from folk to alternative rock. From inspiring tracks like "Excuse Me Mr.","Ground on Down", and "Power of the Gospel" one could make his own CD! this album has such diversness, no matter how many times you listen to it, you can still enjoy it! all the songs are different, and unique and easy to listen to. "Give A Man A Home" and "Excuse Me Mr." are extremely deep songs, and both are extremely moving. But, those aren't the only good songs... "Burn One Down" is giving the users side to the marijuana war!!! GO BEN! but, just get the CD, it's sooo worth it!Free Music Review: Just buy it...

Honestly...don't listen to anyone who reviews this CD. Don't listen to the reviewers before me...don't listen to the reviewers that come after. Do NOT listen to me. Listen to Ben. Listen to his soul...his pure, heart-wrenching lyrics...his beautiful sounds. Again, I repeat...do not listen to me. For you would be wasting time on me that you should be devoting to this CD. Like I already mentioned...just buy it...you will not regret it.
