Free Music Notes for Best of Schoolhouse RockFree Music Review: What can you say but great? Hit: 5 Stars
I type this as I hear the song "We the People" going through my mind. I like it as much now as I did when it was on when I was growing up. Needless to say it helped me and half my friends pass the constitution test! I ordered this for my four year old daughter. Not only is it a great learning tool she likes the catchy tunes. Of course, she does tend to groan when I want to keep listening to "We the People" over and over. She almost has all the words down. What more can you ask for? This is a classic...learning while having fun. And how can you complain about liking the same music your child wants to hear over and over in the car? Definitely a great buy.
Free Music Review: Schoolhouse Rock is the Best! Hit: 5 Stars
My five-year-old & 21-month-old kids LOVE Schoolhouse Rock. We listen to it in the car every day. There's a few songs on there that I don't remember (and funny how those aren't my kids favs) but most of them I do and it's so fun to hear them & sing-a-long to them with my kids. I totally recommend this CD to everyone - parents who remember watching these as a kid, grandparents who enjoy singing along to great songs with their grandkids and even kids who want to learn a little about math, science and everything else!
Free Music Review: Educational and nostalgic! Hit: 5 Stars
I remember watching Schoolhouse Rock on TV as a child and it taught me so much about math, grammar and history in several catchy songs. What a joy to learn that I can now own them on CD. My favorite is "The Preamble" and if I ever want to recite it, I just sing the song. Other great songs are "Conjunction Junction", "Interjection" and "Figure Eight". After all these years, it's still a treasure for children and remains an effective way to teach the essentials.
Free Music Review: Great & Consistent Educational Entertainment for the kids! Hit: 5 Stars
This was one of the best purchases from Amazon yet! The kids love the songs and continually watch "their favorites." I also purchased the CD for the car and they (we)listen to it constantly! I love it because I watched School House Rock as a kid - and discovered I still remember the songs. New current songs have been added for today's living too.Schoolhouse Rock! (Special 30th Anniversary Edition)
Free Music Review: Schoolhouse Rock STILL Rocks! Hit: 5 Stars
I loved it as a kid, and now my kids love it -- they're going into 2nd grade and kindergarten soon, so neither has any real understanding of government, grammar, etc., but they sing along with most of the songs, and I think when they start to learn these things in school, the songs will make it easier for them. They're fun, they're catchy -- sure there are a few favorites that aren't there, but almost all the other ones will keep you humming through your day :)
